Car Flex Pass - One ticket is all you need for everyone in your car (up to 8 people). You don’t need tickets for each person—just one for the whole vehicle! Tickets are flexible—there’s no need to book a date or time. Use your ticket on any day and time during the 2025 Magic of Lights season, up to January 3rd.
Car Dash Pass - Skip the line! For only a few dollars more per vehicle, the Dash Pass allows you to bypass traffic and enter through the special Dash Pass lane.
Limo Dash Pass - Bypass the traffic and use the special Dash Pass Lane with the Limo Dash Pass. Load up your limo (9-16 passengers). Please note: Limos are not provided by the facility; guests must arrange their own transportation.
Bus Dash Pass - Ideal for large groups! The Bus Dash Pass allows vehicles holding 17+ passengers to skip the line using the special Dash Pass lane. Please note: Buses are not provided by the facility; guests must arrange their own transportation.

"Marquis Crossing Ladies Society's First Attempt at Murder" sounds like an intriguing title for a mystery novel or a comedic play. Picture a quaint and seemingly tranquil town where a group of elderly ladies, known for their knitting circles and charitable bake sales, find themselves tangled in a surprising plot twist. Their serene routine is disrupted when a local nuisance threatens their beloved community center, and they jokingly concoct a plan to "eliminate" the problem. However, with their first attempt at murder, chaos ensues, leading to a series of humorous mishaps and misunderstandings. As the story unfolds, the ladies must navigate their way through unexpected consequences, all while uncovering secrets, building friendships, and ultimately solving a mystery that none of them anticipated. Fran has worked an eclectic mix of jobs including youth worker, career counsellor, proposal writer, and a ten-year stint as VP for a career consulting firm. Her short stories have appeared in literary journals from coast to coast, and her plays have been produced for both theatre and radio. Fran has published two novels. The Shore Girl landed on the CBC Top 40-Book List and won the Alberta Reader’s Choice Award. No Good Asking, shortlisted for the 2019 Georges Bugnet and ReLit Awards, has been translated for international markets. Fran’s third novel, Cattail Lane, hit bookshelves in the spring of 2025.

"My creative interests revolve around ‘old world’ expressive activities. Exploring art using materials from days gone by gives me a peek into the past. I love to use natural materials. I enjoy fibre arts of all kinds, calligraphy and mixed media, where vintage items can be incorporated into my pieces. I have a soft spot for ancient handwork techniques such as knitting, spinning, tatting, felting, quilting and embroidery. I also love beautiful hand written words on fine paper. Recently I have been experimenting with eco-dyeing on fabric and paper, which brings nature into my work. I love how my art process, using any medium, calms my mind and makes room for the spirit to enter."

A guitar prodigy from the age of 9, Aaron Young performed in and directed the world-beat stage show, Barrage, touring Asia, Scandinavia, the UK, Canada and the US. 
Young’s music has been featured on PBS, CBC, MTV, Bravo and the BBC. He has produced Barrage, The Polyjesters, John Wort Hannam, Susan Aglukark and Ghostboy.
The duo’s unique history results in an amazing show. Their first two albums garnered a YYC Music Awards 2023 Blues Recording of the year and a WCMA Music Award nomination for Blues Act of the Year.

Stephen Olson is a classically-trained guitarist who learned to play Chet Atkins thumb-picking from his Uncle Lyndy. By playing bass and melody lines simultaneously, Stephen can authentically replicate the country and rockabilly sounds of the 1950s. Stephen draws the audiences in with his electric performances and stories from this golden era of music.
 


Johnny Cash & The Rockabillies

John Hewitt is a force not seen since the end of the 70’s. There are bands, artists and songwriters that mimic and imitate but John Hewitt absorbs and reimagines. From folk clubs to house concerts, festivals to halls John is a master of storytelling, arranging, producing and a painter of poems scarcely seen in today’s musical climate. Since his early teens taking in the powerful sounds of the Beatles, Tom Petty, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and the Grateful Dead he has been wandering, searching and yielding a crop of new ideas from the old world.  A multi-instrumentalist from Sault Ste. Marie Ontario and being Alberta bound since 2018 John’s mark on the Western music scene is impossible to go unnoticed. Performing over 150 shows per year (From Alberta and British Columbia to Montana, Colorado, California and beyond), covering 20,000 miles per annum and releasing upwards of 3 albums in that same timeframe there is no comparison to the work ethic, the attitude and the drive that John has as an artist. Fronting the New Americans and touring solo most of the year his output impresses the young and the old, the folk and the rock, the country and the town and the only thing left at the end of the night is a feeling you won’t get anywhere else.
 

 
A poet born in the heat of Las Vegas, Abigayle Oakley blends the melodic richness of folk pioneers with the lyrical honesty oftoday’s confessional singer-songwriters. Her songs explore the complexities of life and the existential questions that shape us, often with a sharp, tongue-in-cheek wit that adds layers of humor and insight.
Abigayle made her Bluebird Cafe debut in 2024. She has toured the US and Canada opening for acts such as The War and Treaty, Jed and The Valentine, Forest Blakk and more.

From Flamenco to Fado, Appalachia to Argentina, and guitar slides to clarinet smears, the duo explores the highest limits of what their instruments can do. Their debut album, Breakthrough (Navona, 2022) has been honored by worldwide organizations including the International Portuguese Music Awards (Best Instrumental Performance 2023), and the International Clarinet Association. Portuguese-Canadian clarinetist Wesley Ferreira is an acclaimed soloist and orchestral musician. He always brings his infectious positivity, big smile, and way too many reeds to every rehearsal. Dividing time between his home in Spain and his native USA, guitarist Jaxon Williams is an active performer of both Classical and Spanish Flamenco styles. He also knows more about fingernail care than a certified beautician and can slap on a fake nail in 5 minutes or less. Since 2018, Jâca has brought their infectious charm to arts series and music festivals across the USA and worldwide. They have played in prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall and have been featured on national television and radio in Portugal, Ecuador, and the USA. Press outlets have described the duo as being “at the forefront of an exciting new wave of chamber music groups” (Sneak Preview), and praises Jâca for “pushing classical music forward” (Culturs: Global Multicultural Magazine).

You know the story, you know the rhymes. You've seen the tale a million times. But here's the twist that no one will know... there's a different villain in every show!
The Blank is back! Rapid Fire Theatre's annual holiday tradition returns to the stage in December 2025. THE BLANK WHO STOLE CHRISTMAS is a somewhat-familiar but always original improvised take on the holiday classic by a similar name.
In this original Christmas musical, a cast of performers have memorized all their lines and rehearsed all their choreography, just to have it all ruined at a moment's notice. In each performance of THE BLANK the main character is played by a different guest improviser playing a character of their choice. The main character hasn't rehearsed with the rest of the cast and doesn't know any of their lines. The cast doesn't know who is crashing their performance until the moment it happens live on stage!
There are three versions of the show for various age groups and sensitivities, this performance is the NAUGHTY version;
Nice (all ages)Safe for everyone! No swearing, and the Blank is going to be someone selected just for kids. Previous “Nice” Blanks include Barbie & Shrek. “Nice” shows play on Saturday afternoons at 1:30pm.
Naughty (14+ discretion advised)You’ll hear some bad words, and you can expect some adult humour. Previous “Naughty” Blanks include Baba Yaga & Loki. All 7pm shows are “Naughty”. All Thursday evening “Naughty” performances are Pay-What-You-Will!

About the show:
Byron Martin and Simon Abbott are back at it again with their musical satire based on their favourite Christmas movie. Returning for the third year, this time even bigger and better! Sexy German criminal Alan Rickman-I-mean-Hans-Gruber leads an international gang of terrorists who seize an office tower during a Christmas party. John, a cop from New York, is trapped on the upper floors. He’ll need a Christmas miracle to save his power-dressing wife Holly and the other hostages. This Die-Hard-Christmas-Carol is about as stupid as it sounds with action packed comedy, tap dancing FBI agents and heartbreaking flashbacks of kids who are coughing too much.

The Blank is back! Rapid Fire Theatre's annual holiday tradition returns to the stage in December 2025. THE BLANK WHO STOLE CHRISTMAS is a somewhat-familiar but always original improvised take on the holiday classic by a similar name.
In this original Christmas musical, a cast of performers have memorized all their lines and rehearsed all their choreography, just to have it all ruined at a moment's notice. In each performance of THE BLANK the main character is played by a different guest improviser playing a character of their choice. The main character hasn't rehearsed with the rest of the cast and doesn't know any of their lines. The cast doesn't know who is crashing their performance until the moment it happens live on stage!
There are three versions of the show for various age groups and sensitivities, this performance is the NASTY version;
Nice (all ages)Safe for everyone! No swearing, and the Blank is going to be someone selected just for kids. Previous “Nice” Blanks include Barbie and Gaston. “Nice” shows play on Saturday afternoons at 1:30pm.
Naughty (14+ discretion advised)You’ll hear some bad words, and you can expect some adult humour. Previous “Naughty” Blanks include Baba Yaga and Gollum. All 7pm shows are “Naughty”. All Thursday evening “Naughty” performances are Pay-What-You-Will!
Nasty (18+)Bad words guaranteed, and you’ll probably see some stuff that makes you blush. Previous “Nasty” Blanks include Scarface & Austin Powers. “Nasty” shows play Friday & Saturday nights at 9:30pm.

Gay apparel?Basically, anything I don is *automatically* Gay Apparel.It's time for our annual holiday and this year we're mixing another round of seasonal ELEN's Gift Exchange plus a lot of low-key socializing activities for Sapphics to meet each other and make new friends.
This event is a meet-up for Edmonton's Sapphic* community and we will be offering interactive activities to chat and engage. Name and pronoun labels are opt-in. Tickets are required.
Gift Exchange: "In addition to casual mingling activities and crafts we will be featuring a low pressure, opt-in gift exchange, simply bring a wrapped present ready for a surprise swap with other attendees. Gifts should be valued around $5-10 or less and we welcome handmade items--just something fun to share with a new friend. Feel free to bring extra, just in case SapphicSanta forgets a few of the naughtier elves."**Not being able to provide a gift is not a barrier to attending and no one will leave without a present.
