The Honour Band will perform under the direction of guest conductor Nick Fanner, bringing together students selected from across the region for a special performance that highlights their musical achievement.
This concert is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate music education in our community and to enjoy an evening filled with exciting performances, inspiring young artists, and the rich sound of live concert band music. We are excited to host you once again in the beautiful boreal forest for the 34th annual Ness Creek Music Festival July 16-19 2026. As always, we strive to bring you the best of Saskatchewan, Canadian and global musicians. Join us for a wide variety of workshops and community gatherings in our many programming venues throughout the site. We have something for everyone!

This event brings our community together to create a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences between filmmakers, artists, outdoor enthusiasts, and the public.
Over the 120 minute program, the audience will have the opportunity to view a variety of short films from different outdoor pursuits in sports such as mountain biking, alpine skiing, mountaineering, and climbing, among others who are pushing the envelope in different areas of outdoor adventure. Doors open at 9:00PM. Entry line will take longer due to increased security measures. There are full pat downs, and belonging checks prior to entering the venue. You will be required to empty all of your pockets out into a tray for inspection so only bring what is absolutely necessary.

 

There is a strict no drinking/holding of alcohol beverages for minors. If you are a minor and caught holding or consuming an alcoholic beverage you will be kicked out without refund. There is zero tolerance policy, this is your first and final warning.

 

If you are a 19+ guest and are caught giving a minor alcohol you will be kicked out without refund. There is a zero tolerance policy, this is your first and final warning.

 

If a minor arrives under the influence of any drugs or alcohol they will be denied entry without refund.

 

All 19+ patrons must have a valid Government Issued photo ID in its physical form, not a photo of it. You will show this at the box office to receive a 19+ wristband. If you do not get a wristband upon entering, you will not be able to get one after so be sure to get one prior to entering the facility if you are over the age of 19.

 

Reminder: Cannabis, is illegal to bring into the venue and will be confiscated upon entry and not returned. This is the same laws that apply to bringing alcohol into the venue.

 

There is a no minor re-entry policy all evening. If you are a minor and leave the venue at any point, you will not be allowed back in. This may change to affect all guests at any point during the evening.

The HIP Experience was formed in 2017 shortly after the passing of Gord Downie in October of that year. The band was originally put together for a memorial tribute concert to the Canadian Icon. The first show at Toronto's Rockpile in November of that year went over incredibly well. Then there were calls for the band to play some more shows and so it continued with one goal in mind, to establish the Nation’s most authentic Tragically Hip show. Frontman Derek Lathrop leads a group of Toronto's finest players; Dave Deveaux on lead guitar/vocals, Ian B Garcia on rhythm guitar/vocals, Paul Whiteside on bass/vocals and Dale Harrison on drums. Since forming in 2017 the band has wowed audiences from coast to coast. They were one of the first bands to perform a hotel concert during the Lockdowns with concert promoters Hotels Live. The Hip Experience is a crowd favourite at festivals with their high energy delivery of the Tragically Hips music. The bands performances capture the spirit of the Hip with great attention to detail and the nuances of the music.
Together, this band realized what decades of experience can accomplish. Often playing the songs in chronological order, the HIP Experience has been travelling the country spreading the gospel of one of our Nation’s ageless prophets and voice for indigenous people’s, Gord Downie.

Though many bands have tried, no one articulates the real apocalypse humanity is facing as vividly and succinctly as Cattle Decapitation. With 2019’s Death Atlas they reached the apex of this, perhaps leading some to believe they had no place left to go beyond such an achievement, but now they return with Terrasite, which is as bold a statement as they have ever made. “After a record like Death Atlas you have to make a turn,” states guitarist Josh Elmore. “Everything about that album - the concept, artwork, music, etc, was a final statement. The only way to move forward is rebirth. In approaching the newest record it was not only necessary to keep the musical trajectory the band has been aiming towards since the beginning, but also to further explore the ambient/textural elements that were part of Death Atlas.” As such, Terrasite pushes their sound further into more epic and varied territory, and in the hands of vocalist Travis Ryan the governing concept takes a new and disturbing direction. “I wanted to do the 180° opposite of Death Atlas. I already had the concept idea from years back and since Death Atlas was so dark and brooding, I wanted a completely opposite effect - I wanted this to take place in the daylight. I’ve always found daytime horror to be really unsettling so I wanted to make sure what was going on on the cover took place in the light of day, which also finds its place within the lyrics.”

KRYPLE | 19+

K-Man & The 45s, where Ska meets Rock and Roll. One of Canada’s most well-known and loved Ska bands. Their relentless touring and hyper active live shows keep turning heads.   Their critically acclaimed Self-Titled album came out in 2016 and there’s been no slowing down since (barring the pandemic blip). Fan favorite songs such as I Don’t Mind and Space Thriller cemented them in the scene while festival plays and relentless touring brought them to the four corners of the globe. Playing alongside greats like the Voodoo Glow Skulls, The Planet Smashers, The Original Wailers, Big D and The Kids Table, The Slackers levelled up their fanbase and live show. With the release of Stand With The Youth the band was solidified in the National and now international Ska and Punk scenes. Things were going great! Now they were not only playing Canada but The USA and Europe as well. Everything was going great!  Then the Covid call came in and everything shut down.   Completely devastated, beaten by a pandemic and divorce, K-Man spent his time in a little house isolated on the side of a mountain by a lake. Here he wrote the songs for Primed To Go. Self reflection let to the realization that life is just better on the road (a major them of the album). There were moments of fun and light heartedness during these times shown in songs such as The Girl Likes Heavy Metal, Daytime Drinking and Regroup on Planet X. The latter features Efrem Shultz of the Voodoo Glow Skulls, Death By Stereo and Manic Hispanic.   There is also an element of soul searching showing a more personal lyrical tone in some songs which are a new thing for the band. K-Man Style Way depicts the loneliness that can occur while spending so much time on the road. The song Silhouette is a slower moody ballad and departure in style featuring the lovely Lea Keeley doing a duet with K-Man on vocals and musical moods that reflects the love and obsession romance depicted by the words.  Primed To Go feels like a more complete album than their past efforts and shows the growth of the band. Always energetic and just as refreshing this new album tips its hat to the original Ska genre with the band’s signature Rock and Roll attitude front and center. What Does This Mean? This ticket pricing is formed to help people who can't afford higher priced tickets, combat the increasing costs of throwing an event, and to aid in bringing in larger artists. 
Vancouver-based Overland is a rave inciter and beat architect shaped by her upbringing in small town Alberta, Canada, and an itinerant way of life guided by the magnetism of disparate musical influences. With notable sojourns in London, UK and Vancouver, British Columbia, Overland’s journey has taken her from organizing hometown warehouse raves and beachside renegades to high profile bookings at Berlin’s Tresor and Boiler Room x Igloofest Montreal. Echoes of the myriad of people and places that have helped her flourish can be heard in her playful, high-energy mixes and simmering sets that weave morphing basslines with propulsive beats. Her driving, dynamic and acid-laced productions have been released on Lisbon’s Naive and New York’s Sweat Equity. Berlin-based label Paryía run by Marie Montexier hosted her record last year with a remix by high profile ambient trio Purelink, and Priori’s Canadian imprint, GARMO released her most recent record with praise from Hardwax. Fresh off the back of a newly minted residency for Rinse France, Overland’s mark on Canadian dance music continues to thrive and shows no sign of slowing down. A crowd favourite, elle fast is returning for her second Sequence appearance! elle fast is a DJ and promoter based in Winnipeg, Treaty 1 territory. Unconcerned with genres and dedicated to storytelling via unusual grooves, her sets weave through assorted shades and eras of house, techno, experimental, and breakbeat, often held together by a thick bassline and/or generous helping of machine funk. Current projects and affiliations include music for bathtubs, a mix series inviting guests to explore the dustier, downtempo corners of their collections; and Proper, a Winnipeg-based event series showcasing local and regional artists.
