The Oddities & Curiosities Expo is the world's largest traveling oddities event showcasing hand selected vendors, dealers, artists and small businesses with all things weird. You'll find items such as: taxidermy, preserved specimens, original artwork, horror/halloween inspired pieces, antiques, handcrafted oddities, quack medical devices, creepy clothing, odd jewelry, skulls/bones, funeral collectibles & much more. We truly have something weird for everyone at our shows. All items you see at our shows are legal to own and sustainably sourced. Outside of our curated vendors, we host sideshow performers on stage all throughout the day and the opportunity to learn the craft of taxidermy with classes available during the expo.  The O&C Expo provides a safe place for anyone to come and discover new artists, meet new friends and be surrounded by an amazing community of like-minded people. We pride ourselves in being a completely "DIY" run show from start to finish. We find so much joy in being able to provide a place where you can feel at home surrounded by others that share the same interests.  Unleash your creativity and curiosity in our Introductory Taxidermy Class! Designed for beginners, this hands-on course offers a fascinating glimpse into the art and science of taxidermy.
Class begins promptly at 10am and ends at 4pm.
We provide each student with either a skinned, cleaned, and tanned racoon, opossum, or rat hide depending on the workshop you are taking.
The first half of class is focused on preparing your form, setting the eyes, test fitting and mounting the hide, as well as grooming.
After our first 30-minute break class shifts towards plaque preparation and mounting your project.
The class runs for approximately 6 hours with two 30-minute breaks throughout the day.

Sunset Moths Entomology Class $150USD Unlock the artistry of entomology in our Introductory Bug Pinning Workshop! This hands-on experience is perfect for nature enthusiasts, aspiring entomologists, or anyone interested in the intricate craft of insect preservation. Join us as we guide you through the techniques of preparing and pining insects, transforming them into beautiful, display-ready specimens.
The AM class will begin promptly at 10am and last 2.5 hours.
You will learn the foundational skills of bug pinning, including safe collection methods, proper handling, and the step-by-step process of pinning and mounting your specimen.
Class exclusive!: Two specimens for the price of one!
Your first specimen will be a moth or butterfly that will be used to practice your newly learned pinning technique. Once you’ve completed this step we will move on to creating your unique frame and placing your Sunset Moth in its display case.
We will familiarize you with the tools of the trade, pinning supplies, insect boxes, and preservation techniques. We’ll provide all necessary materials for your workshop experience. Explore creative ways to arrange and display your pinned insects, turning your specimens into captivating works of art that reflect your personal style.
Whether you’re looking to start a new hobby, enhance your scientific knowledge, or simply enjoy a unique artistic experience, this workshop will provide you with the skills and confidence to create your own insect displays. Julius Caesar depicts the most iconic historical-tragedy by William Shakespeare, following the violent fall of Rome’s most influential leader. The morally conflicted Brutus and the cunningly coercive Cassius lead a conspiracy of senators & patricians to assassinate Caesar in the name of liberty and stability of the Roman Republic, only to trigger chaos, bloodshed and civil war. Through fiery oratory and calculated deception, both public figures and the Roman populace are manipulated and coerced into fiery fits of factionalism. Julius Caesar warns how populist appeals to fear and identity can accelerate the erosion of democratic ideals; reveals how easily power and emotion distorts truth, and turns noble ideals into instruments of control. In the end, the play’s tragedy surrounding Caesar’s assassination marks not one man’s death, but the tragedy of the death of the Republic.

      About the McMaster Thespian Company:
      The McMaster Thespian Company is a non-profit theatre organization specializing in developing and performing classical plays in new ways. Past shows include (but are not limited to) scripts and pieces from the classical Grecian, Elizabethan, and Victorian eras. MTC provides opportunities for students interested in performing, technical theatre, and production, and creates an inclusive forum for artists and technicians to develop and showcase their skills and talents. In the process, we cultivate theatrical performances that touch on a variety of social issues, bring theatre's origins and earliest pieces to life, and highlight the importance of live theatre at McMaster and in our surrounding community. The 2024-2025 school year marks MTC's 20th season.
      Our company is composed of actors, crew members, and production team members that come from different faculties and backgrounds. Among our members, we encourage artistic and technical development within the diverse areas of theatre and provide an environment where our company members can explore classical theatre outside of academic study.

Nii Osabu is a Ghanaian musician currently based in Toronto. He is the founder andlead vocalist of the AfroBoys Band and plays solo shows as well. Three of his songswere in the docuseries Beads Build Bridges featured in the Los Angeles’ Pan AfricanFilm Festival. In Canada, Nii Osabu has performed at festivals like the Habari AfricanFestival, Family Day festival by Aga Khan Museum, Ghanafest and at venues such asthe Royal Ontario Museum, Drom Taberna and many others.
 Dipo is a Nigeria-born, Canada-based artist who blends soul, R&amp;B, jazz, folk, highlifeand Fuji, capturing hearts with velvety vocals and genre-bending style. While in Nigeria,he broke onto the music scene by making it to the top five on the talent show Nokia FirstChance. Dipo has shared the stage with some of Nigeria’s greatest. He opened for ASAat her debut concert and also opened for 2Face Idibia and D’banj. His style of music isinfluenced by great musicians including Fela Kuti, Al Green, Lionel Richie, StevieWonder and Marvin Gaye.
Sintayehu ‘Mimi’ Zenebe and Abebe FikadeSintayehu ‘Mimi’ Zenebe is a talented singer, songwriter and dancer, hailing from amusical family and known as the “Edith Piaf” of Ethiopia. She has been performingtraditional music from a young age and has shared the stage with many Ethiopianartists and groups. Zenebe was the vocalist for U.K.’s Dub Colossus, touringinternationally and recording albums released on Real World Records. She hasperfected her skills as a vocalist, dancer and performer of Azmari songs. She hasreleased a number of singles and albums including her latest, Yegeremegn, inDecember 2024.Abebe Fikade comes from a long line of Azmari from the Gondar regions performingsongs with traditional and contemporary themes. He is a masenqo (single-stringedfiddle) player, vocalist and composer, who performs the monochord music of theAzmari. He has performed at the Habari Africa Festival, Sounds of Saba at Alliance
Francaise, Ethiopia, A Musical Perspective at Glenn Gould Studio and Luminatofestival, as well as various Ethiopian restaurants, community events, festivals and clubs.
David J.David J. is a South Sudanese-Canadian musician and activist from a family ofmusicians. He is a skilled guitarist in many music genres including reggae, soukous,rumba, afrobeats and zouk. Living in Alberta from 2011 to 2019, David was immersed inAfrican music, performing with his band at many festivals and venues, including theCalgary Stampede. He moved to Ottawa and quickly became a fixture on the Africanmusic scene there and in Montreal. He is now based in Toronto.
Ruth Mathiang is a singer/songwriter whose elegant melodic sound has been described as a mixture of traditional African music with folk, soul, jazz and reggae inspired. Singing in Arabic, Kiswahili and English, she recorded her first CD “My Cry, Peace” in Prince Edward Island, depicting her difficult life growing up in war-ravaged Southern Sudan. Ruth Mathiang uses her voice and talent to advocate for important social issues.  Her songs express longing for the importance of social justice, timeless fight for equality, and the dream of world peace. Ruth has performed for non-profit agencies that work in Africa in sectors such as human rights, women and children issues, primary health care and community development. Ruth seems to be on a path reminiscent of past activist voices, the late Miriam Makeba and the socially conscious Tracey Chapman, her musical heroes. 
ṢẹwàṢẹwà is a Toronto-based Nigerian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and buddingproducer blending Afrobeat, Fuji, jazz, R&amp;B, soul/blues, and pop. A fan once describedher voice as “the after-smell of rain.” After selling out her first Nigerian concert in 2021,she moved to Toronto, completed Seneca College’s music program, and has sinceheadlined sold-out shows and opened for artists like Asa, Johnny Drille and Kiss Daniel.With two EPs out and an album called Detox released in 2025, Ṣẹwà’s soulful soundand vivid storytelling continue to connect cultures and captivate audiences acrossstages and streaming platforms.

Three-time JUNO nominee Suzie Ungerleider (formerly Oh Susanna) returns to Toronto to celebrate her luminous new album, Among the Evergreens—a collection hailed by UNCUT as “thoughtful, luminous, expressive” and by MOJO as “as sweet as folk-Americana comes.” The record traces Suzie’s journey from youthful dreams to the wisdom of experience, with nature-rich imagery and story-songs that land like letters from an old friend.
Originally planned for October, this special album-release concert has been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Suzie will be joined by longtime collaborators Nichol Robertson (guitar) and Vivienne Wilder (bass), bringing her songs to life with warmth, intimacy, and exquisite musicianship. enemies, lovers is an indie/pop band based in Toronto led by singer-songwriter, Hatley Edmonds, and guitarist and producer, Marcus Gwyn-Neumann. The group formed in 2023 and released their debut EP, What You Wanted, in 2024. For two years, the band has performed across Toronto to sold-out audiences, including at NXNE and Sofar Sounds. Their sound is a blend of country, rock, pop, and folk, supported by honest, heartfelt lyrics that resonate deeply with their audience. Their unique sound and upbeat stage presence has drawn comparisons to Maggie Rogers, Julia Jacklin, and Kacy Hill. Hatley and Marcus are now working on their debut full-length album.

Adapted from thesoon to be published book and audiobook, The Break-Up Diet tells the story of a year in the lifeof Tamara Williamson as she undergoes a common but nevertheless definingly torturousepisode in her life, the ruthlessly fast disintegration of her outwardly perfect marriage.Punctuated by raw guttural songs written by Tamara at the time of the events portrayed, themusic is driving alternative rock performed by Tamara and her band, Mrs. Torrance.
About Tamara:
Tamara Williamson has been a mainstay in the Toronto music scene since the early ’90s. Shereleased 3 albums with her band Mrs. Torrance on the major label BMG. In 2000, Mrs. Torrancedisbanded and Tamara started a solo career. She has released five albums in Canada andEurope on OCEAN Music and Aporia and collaborated with such bands as King Cobb Steelie,Rheostatics, Do Make Say Think and MicroBunny. Tamara also plays Ukulele in an ensemblecalled CROW. Her music is dramatic, ethereal, sensitive, and sometimes loud, and is known forbuilding live sound walls with her experimentation using both vocal effects and looping. Tamarahas been featured on The New Music Show, and been on heavy rotation on MUCH Music. Shehas played Jason Collettes Basement Review and shared the stage with many of Canada's altrock royalty at festivals such as Hillside, The Regina Folk Festival, NXNE, and CMW.
About Mrs.Torrance:
Mrs. Torrance was an established presence on the independent Queen West music scenethroughout the 1990s, opening for Oasis and signing to a major label just before Napsterexploded the business model of the music industry. Mrs. Torrance has reformed to provide anincredible musical backdrop (both soundscapes and song performances) to the emotionallydevastating and yet ultimately cathartic story of The Break-Up Diet.

New Hue is the artistic project of the 24-year-old multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter Jakob Russell.
