The Oddities & Curiosities Expo is the world's largest traveling oddities event showcasing hand selected vendors, dealers, artists and small businesses with all things weird. You'll find items such as: taxidermy, preserved specimens, original artwork, horror/halloween inspired pieces, antiques, handcrafted oddities, quack medical devices, creepy clothing, odd jewelry, skulls/bones, funeral collectibles & much more. We truly have something weird for everyone at our shows. All items you see at our shows are legal to own and sustainably sourced. Outside of our curated vendors, we host sideshow performers on stage all throughout the day and the opportunity to learn the craft of taxidermy with classes available during the expo. The O&C Expo provides a safe place for anyone to come and discover new artists, meet new friends and be surrounded by an amazing community of like-minded people. JACKALOPE: $225USD
Class Description:
Unleash your creativity and curiosity in our Introductory Taxidermy Class hosted by The Sleeping Sirens! Designed for beginners, this hands-on course offers a fascinating glimpse into the art and science of taxidermy. 
What to Expect:
Class begins promptly at 10am and ends at 4pm. 
We provide each student with either a skinned, cleaned, and tanned racoon or rabbit hide depending on the workshop you are taking. 
The first half of class is focused on preparing your form, setting the eyes, test fitting and mounting the hide, as well as grooming. 
After our first 30-minute break class shifts towards base preparation and mounting your project. 
The class runs for approximately 6 hours with two 30-minute breaks throughout the day.

Unlock the artistry of entomology in our Introductory Bug Pinning Workshop hosted by The Sleeping Sirens! This hands-on experience is perfect for nature enthusiasts, aspiring entomologists, or anyone interested in the intricate craft of insect preservation. Join us as we guide you through the techniques of preparing and pinning insects, transforming them into beautiful, display-ready specimens.
What to Expect:
This workshop has both AM and PM availability, so it is of the utmost importance that you verify the correct date and time of your specific class. 
The AM class will begin promptly at 10am while the PM class will begin promptly at 1:30pm.
You will learn the foundational skills of bug pinning, including safe collection methods, proper handling, and the step-by-step process of pinning and mounting insects.
We will familiarize ourselves with the tools of the trade, pinning supplies, insect boxes, and preservation techniques. We’ll provide all necessary materials for your workshop experience.
Explore creative ways to arrange and display your pinned insects, turning your specimens into captivating works of art that reflect your personal style.

Now and at the Hour by Julia Garlisi. In this poignant and intimate piece, audiences are invited to connect with the universal, haunting emotions of grief across time and space.

In an effort to make Here&Now financially accessible to most, our ticket pricing is based on the Green Bottle Method, an economic justice tool developed by Alexis J. Cunningfolk, that enables patrons to adjust payment based on access to resources. With this in mind, we’re offering three ticket prices: 
 

The highest tier, or a True Cost Ticket, reflects the true cost of running this event and indicates what we would need each audience member to pay to completely cover a living for artists, staff, as well as the venue fees, and more assuming every ticket was sold. 
The middle tier, or a General Admission Ticket, reflects the understanding that the highest tier is inaccessible to many people and offers an option that we hope will meet the majority of our audience members’ needs. 
The lowest tier, or Subsidized Ticket, reflects the understanding that there are folks whose economic circumstances prevent them from being able to participate in our event.

Winner of two JUNO awards, creator of 16 albums, 22 singles, four gold records, CARAS "Songwriter of the Year" and since 2012 Member of the Order of Canada, Valdy is one our country's truly great storytellers. He is also an accomplished producer and a composer of film and television soundtracks and host of B.C. Music Project, a music video program featuring British Columbia artists from five cities and towns that went on to win a Gold Ribbon Talent Development Award.
In addition to his storied and prolific career, Valdy has a been a Front Page Challenge panelist and at one point had a lead role on The Beachcombers. It does not get much more Canadian than that! He has been touring Canada for over 45 years but also tours regularly in New Zealand in addition to past tours across Europe. David Celia and members of Zuffalo will be performing a set of original music + Pink Floyd’s epic album “Wish You Were Here” in full, to celebrate 50 years since its release. This music has influenced their original songs so much and the album will be played with accuracy but also with a feeling that can best be described as “in the moment”. Their intention is to play the songs as how Pink Floyd were to play it back in the day.
David Celia is predominately his own songsmith and performer with four of his own albums released and another in the works. His music can be described as folk-rock wrapped up in a Beatle-esque pop package. He’s off touring the world twice a year and thrives on performing in front of music loving audiences with his “feel good but think” lyrics and spontaneous off-the-cuff improvisation. David’s music has consistently appeared on the CBC, BBC and WNYC in New York. The legendary Gordon Lightfoot was a fan and the CBC’s Tom Power has called him “one of Toronto’s best guitar players”.
Joining Celia are Zuffalo’s Kim Manning and Michael Vukovich to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Wish You Were Here by performing the album in its entirety. Saturday May 3.

Join us for an inspiring evening with Joseph Sagaj, Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) of the Sturgeon Clan, as he shares his remarkable journey as an Indigenous artist. Growing up in Neskantaga, a remote community of just 300 people located 433 km northeast of Thunder Bay, Joseph's creative foundation was shaped by moments like making moccasins with his mother.
His artistic path took him from his home community to Toronto, where he graduated from the Ontario College of Art (now OCAD University) in Fine Arts in 1985. Despite the challenges and struggles often faced by artists, Joseph pursued his passion and carved out a meaningful career.
This conversation will explore his artistic evolution, his identity as an Indigenous artist, and the stories behind the many murals that adorn the city, each one a vibrant testament to his talent and heritage. The conversation will be moderated by Justine Woods, Curator of Indigenous Collections, and Shan Fernando, Manager of Public Programming.

Madison Violet is a Canadian JUNO-nominated female musical duo consisting of Lisa MacIsaac and Brenley MacEachern. 2025 marks the 25th anniversary of Madison Violet, a rare and impressive feat that they are both proud of and grateful for. It also marks the final year that Madison Violet will be touring.
MacIsaac and MacEachern are exceptional story tellers, skilled multi-instrumentalists, and together, perfect harmonists. Their voices soar, perfectly complementing each other as they sing lyrics that will both mend and break your heart. Do not miss their performance on Friday April 25.

SoundCrowd is Toronto’s first large-scale contemporary a cappella ensemble led by Founder and Artistic Director Scott Pietrangelo. Since their first performance backing up former Barenaked Ladies frontman Steven Page in concert, they have since repeatedly sold out concerts in Toronto each year, appeared at Carnegie Hall with Total Vocal in 2017 and 2025, opened for Disney’s a cappella sensation, DCappella, appeared as special surprise guests on the Canadian national talk show, “The Social,” and launched their first album, “All Voice, No Limits” in May of 2023.
