Q: Are there accessible facilities?
A: Yes, the Milton Fairgrounds is wheelchair accessible! However, we are a fairground with many outside events and walkways are not paved.
 
Q: What is included with my gate admission?
A: Just about every attraction or activity is included in your gate admission. This includes Demolition Derbies, Truck and Tractor Pulls, Live Bands, Performers, Animal displays and shows, Livestock and Homecraft Exhibits and much more. Some activities are not included and must be paid to the provider.
 
Q: Where do we park?
A: Limited parking is onsite for a $10 fee. Please follow the volunteers’ directions.

Kids under 12 are free and do not require a ticket.
Bracelets will be placed on the wrists at the entrance gates.
Ticket includes access to the Dodge RAM Rodeo and the Demolition Derby.
Alternatively, they can be picked up in advance between September 1–17, 2026, during office hours. Office hours are listed on our website at www.BinbrookFair.org. If you choose to pick up your bracelet in advance, you will be responsible for ensuring it is properly secured on the wrist before arriving at the fair. To ensure a proper fit, the bracelet should be snug around the wrist with no more than a 1/2 inch gap, ensuring it cannot slide off.
Please be aware that bracelets will become invalid if they are not properly worn on your wrist. The bracelet serves as your official pass for unlimited access to the fair, and any tampering with or removal of the bracelet will VOID it, resulting in a loss of re-entry for the remainder of the fair. Welcome to Golden Retriever Puppy Yoga by Yoga Kawa in Hamilton/Stoney Creek. This is an outdoor session at Vinemont Estate, which means fresh air, golden puppies, and a yoga class that moves at the pace of whatever the puppies decide is happening next.

A note on Golden Retriever puppies
Goldens are famously social, gentle, and eager to be wherever the people are. As puppies they have approximately zero chill, which means they will investigate your mat, your water bottle, your hair, and your downward dog with equal enthusiasm. They are also very soft. This is the main thing to know.
Families and kids
Kids ages 5 and up are welcome. Anyone under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian who also participates and helps the child move gently and handle the puppies with care.
Mats provided. No experience needed. Wear something you don't mind getting pawed, and come ready to take the Saturday back.

Join us at the planetarium for a show geared toward younger audiences (8-15 years old) and their family members. We’ll first take you on a tour of the night skies seen from Hamilton, and then focus on the many fascinating bodies within our Solar System. Along the way, we will visit all the planets, some of the most interesting moons, and even more if time permits!
Please note that children under 8 can sometimes be frightened when we zoom into planets. The planetarium is not like a TV screen - it's an immersive environment, and the perspective could be unsettling for younger kids who are not yet able to process the information. We obviously want to create a positive environment for kids' learning, and you know them best and what they can handle. If individuals are disruptive you may be asked to leave, and re-admission is not possible. All attendees, including infants in arms, require a ticket due to fire and safety capacity codes.

Five years ago, the launch of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) marked the start of a new era of astrophysics, characterized by unprecedented precision and an abundance of data. In this show, we will take a look at the revolutionary discoveries made possible by JWST. We will begin with the Deep Field images that reveal distant galaxies as they appeared just a few hundred million years after the Big Bang. Then, we will explore how atmospheres of exotic planets orbiting stars other than the Sun are detected and characterized, opening new possibilities in the search for life beyond our Solar System. Finally, we will marvel at the beauty of the cosmos with images of stellar nurseries and nebulae, the remnants of ancient exploded stars. Join us for a journey across the Universe as revealed by JWST!

We are extremely pleased and excited to host Samantha Doxtator for a special live presentation.  Ms Doxtator is a Personal Development Consultant who specializes in teaching life and employability skills that are grounded by traditional values.  She has over 25 years of communications experience and uses this knowledge to help build bridges of new understandings.  Ms. Doxtator has worked with many organizations across Indigenous Country.  The intention with her work is to enhance original ways of knowing, and to nurture; intergenerational gifts, creativity, and innovation.  She is thankful for this journey of being a lifelong learner, researcher, teacher, and knowledge keeper.  Her astronomy show includes discussions on the Sun, the Moon, planets, constellations, galaxies, and more!

If you choose to pick up your bracelet in advance, you will be responsible for ensuring it is properly secured on the wrist before arriving at the fair. To ensure a proper fit, the bracelet should be snug around the wrist with no more than a 1/2 inch gap, ensuring it cannot slide off.
Please be aware that bracelets will become invalid if they are not properly worn on your wrist. The bracelet serves as your official pass for unlimited access to the fair, and any tampering with or removal of the bracelet will VOID it, resulting in a loss of re-entry for the remainder of the fair. Five-time JUNO nominee and seven-time Canadian Folk Music Award winner Andrew Collins brings his acclaimed trio to The Vill for an evening of extraordinary musicianship, playful energy and boundary-pushing acoustic music.
A master of the mandolin - and equally at home on fiddle, guitar, mandola and mandocello - Collins has become a major force in Canada’s roots music scene. Alongside fellow string virtuoso Adam Shier and bassist, mandocello player and vocalist James McEleney, he creates music that moves effortlessly from blazing bluegrass and folk to jazz, newgrass and chamber-inspired arrangements.
With a dizzying range of instruments, tight interplay and quick-witted stage presence, The Andrew Collins Trio delivers the kind of performance that keeps audiences completely locked in. Their sound has been described as “chambergrass”: raw and rhythmic one moment, intricate and sophisticated the next.
The trio’s latest release, Retro, revisits some of Collins’ signature music through fresh arrangements and spirited ensemble playing - from high-speed bluegrass to jazzy waltzes and classical reinterpretations.

John Showman and Chris Coole bring their unmistakable blend of fiddle, banjo, song and spontaneous musical interplay to the intimate stage at The Vill.
Longtime collaborators in acclaimed groups including The Foggy Hogtown Boys and The Lonesome Ace Stringband, Showman and Coole have developed the kind of musical connection that can only come from thousands of hours spent playing together.
Their music occupies a wonderfully hard-to-define place somewhere on the outskirts of old-time, bluegrass and folk - where the songs of John Hartford, Hank Williams, Dock Boggs and The Band can sit comfortably alongside the fiddle traditions of Eck Robertson and Ed Haley.
Add Showman and Coole's own original songs and tunes, and the result is music deeply rooted in tradition without ever feeling stuck in the past.
Together, they have performed across North America and Europe and appeared at celebrated festivals including MerleFest, RockyGrass, Grey Fox, Winnipeg Folk Festival, Mariposa, Wintergrass, Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival, and The Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum.
Alongside five albums with The Lonesome Ace Stringband, the pair have released two duo recordings: Afield, a collection of old-time fiddle tunes, and Much Further Out Than Inevitable - A Tribute to Some Music of John Hartford.
