Two-Spirit Takeover

Presented by BLAKE Brewhouse and Distillery and Canmore Pride Society

All proceeds from ticket sales will support Canmore Pride including initiatives supporting Two-Spirit and Indigenous queer communities.

Tickets are $30 per seat - general admission and tables of 3, 4, 5, and 6 are available.

This June, BLAKE Brewhouse and Distillery and Canmore Pride Society are bringing you a special event to celebrate National Indigenous History Month and Pride Month!

Join us for our 2nd annual event, celebrating local Two-Spirit and Indigenous queer artists!

Last year, we were able to raise $2,295 to support Mînî Thnî Two-Spirit Pride, which happened on Friday, September 25th, 2025. The celebration included a flag raising and walk, market, and performances! Although Mînî Thnî Two-Spirit Pride will not be running in 2026, Canmore Pride is committed to other ways in which we can support Indigenous communities. 

The night will feature unforgettable acts by:

• Dogii Chow

Food and drinks available for purchase at BLAKE on the evening-of. Please note, a full food menu will be served until 8:30 PM, and a reduced food menu will be available until the kitchen closes (~9:30 PM). Drinks will be available until the end of the event. There will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Please note that those with general admission tickets will have access to a limited food menu to allow for easier service.

Accessibility: This venue is wheelchair accessible, although the venue may be crowded with performers, servers, and guests roaming around the floor. Performers will be on a raised stage. Please note, there will be flashing lights and loud music throughout the show. The front entrance does not have an automatic door button, although there will be staff at the front door until the performance begins at 8 PM.

Washrooms: The entrance to the washroom area has an automatic door button.

All washrooms at this venue are gender-neutral and are individual private washrooms. They are located to the right of the main stage, down the hall. There is one wheelchair-accessible washroom which is wide with a railing, but it does not have an automatic door button.

Parking:

There are a limited number of parking spots in the BLAKE’s parking lot. However, there is plenty of street parking available nearby. Parking is free.

Tickets:

Tables of 3, 4, 5, and 6 are available. There is also general admission seating.

Ticket costs are $30 per person. Our events have sold out every year, so remember to get your tickets ASAP!

There will be a very limited amount of general admission seating available at the door on the night of.  We will not be opening doors until 7:30 PM.

Double your impact (and double the fun!) through an evening of fashion, drag, and burlesque. Limited spots available, so don’t wait!

How does it work? The pass includes:

• General admission to Thrift the Runway: A Fashion Show Fundraiser at Canmore Brewing Company from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm (doors at 4 PM)
• General admission to Two-Spirit Takeover at BLAKE Brewhouse and Distillery from 7:30 PM - 10 PM

About Thrift the Runway:

A community fashion show fundraiser hosted by HSBV and Canmore Young Adult Network (CYAN), featuring thrifted and upcycled runway looks, live music from The Ducks, audience voting, door prizes, and creative fashion designed by Bow Valley community members. All proceeds will support HSBV’s Emergency Winter Shelter and Outreach Programs. Learn More Here!

How to purchase the pass?

You can buy the pass from either organization’s event pages:

The combo pass is just $45 (regularly $55), with proceeds supporting both non-profit organizations and their community programming. 

Limited combo passes available. Please note, this offer is valid for those ages 18+ only. Prices are subject to additional processing & platform fees.
