The 13th annual Whistler Village Beer Festival (WVBF), presented by Gibbons Whistler, returns September 16 to 20, 2026.
The Main Event takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Whistler Olympic Plaza and will feature more than 40 craft beverage manufacturers pouring over 80 varieties of beer, cider, canned cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages. Guests can also enjoy live music, great food, and the lively festival atmosphere that makes WVBF one of Whistler’s favourite annual events.

The Boo Revue! is a frightfully fun, blacklight musical puppet show put on every year by the friendly inhabitants of a ghostly old graveyard. Get ready to shiver and shake along to spine-tingling musical numbers, and be dazzled by supernatural sights!
Recommended ages 4+, but fun for the whole family! Approximate run time is 50 minutes, plus a 15-minute meet 'n' greet with the puppets afterwards!
Presented by The Spine-Tingling Puppet Society and sponsored by Puppet Stuff Canada, the show features a team of professional puppeteers and puppet builders from Calgary, Alberta. Their work has been seen on numerous film and television projects including Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock (currently streaming on Apple TV+) and at live events all across Canada!
The show features ten original musical numbers composed by Michael Gordon. Featuring the talents of puppeteers/puppet builders Brendan James Boyd, Reese Scott, Tamara Kennedy, Sarah McPhee and Kendra Sargeant.

Whether your child loves being on stage or is just beginning to find their voice, this 13-week after-school program will help them explore and grow through the magical world of acting.
Through engaging theatre games, improvisation, character work, and storytelling, students will discover the joy of performance while building confidence and developing life skills that extend far beyond the stage. Every class is filled with laughter, creativity, and encouragement in a supportive environment where it's safe to take risks, try new things, and simply be themselves.

Join Extremely Canadian and Whistler Search and Rescue for an engaging afternoon exploring what happens when a day in the backcountry doesn’t go according to plan. This interactive session brings SAR members and the outdoor community together to share real-world experiences, practical knowledge, and the realities of a search and rescue response.
Together, we’ll explore common scenarios, what to expect when you need to call SAR, and how you can prepare yourself and your group for a potential rescue. You’ll also get hands-on with the process of preparing someone for extraction and learn how thoughtful preparation can make a difference when things go wrong.
This is an interactive afternoon—not a sit-and-listen presentation. Expect group discussions, scenarios, problem-solving, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions, share ideas, and learn from the people who respond when help is needed.

This 5-week adult workshop explores the fundamentals of improv and is designed for performers and non-performers alike! 
What You’ll Experience
Improv Fundamentals is more than an acting class — it’s training for how you show up in the world. In this class, you’ll explore foundational improv acting, including character work and storytelling while strengthening your ability to think quickly, respond with confidence, and trust your instincts in moments of spontaneity. You’ll deepen your listening, experience true collaboration, and ignite with your creativity. Get ready for:

Proven techniques that help you "loosen up"
Classic improv games such as: Make-A-Story, New Choice, Freeze, Film Noir, and more!
An improvement in everyday life skills such as communication, collaboration, and listening
A safe, judgment-free space to experiment, take risks, and laugh (a lot!)
A supportive community of like-minded adults 

This workshop is for you if:

You're curious about trying improv from an acting perspective
You're a more experienced improviser needed to freshen up on your improv foundations
You're in business and inspired to develop your public speaking & presentation skills
