The Ball’s Falls Thanksgiving Festival has been a Niagara tradition since 1974! 
Gather your family and friends and head to Ball’s Falls Conservation Area this Thanksgiving – there is something for everyone!
Shop from over 150 vendors in the bustling craft and artisan market, treat yourself to delicious foods, sample some of the best local craft beers and wines, and listen to amazing live music on the main stage. For the kids, there is endless entertainment and fun – including free face-painting and crafts, magic shows, and live bird-of-prey shows presented by the Canadian Raptor Conservancy. 
The whole family will enjoy exploring the 1800's heritage village, featuring one of Ontario’s oldest operating gristmills, and heading out on a guided nature hike to take in the bright fall foliage and check out Niagara's Escarpment geology with the Niagara Geopark.

Welcome to the CNPL Playoff Championships at The Club at Northfield, the Kitchener–Waterloo region's premier destination for racquet sports. Over three days in Waterloo, the Canadian National Pickleball League crowns its 2026 champion.
Seven national events, a coast-to-coast regular season and a full year of team pickleball come down to this weekend. Six teams remain. One will leave Northfield with the CNPL Championship.

Overview
New this season, here is how a CNPL championship weekend works. The top six teams from the 2026 regular season qualify for the playoffs. The top two seeds earn first-round byes. Every series is a best-of-three, and every match is decided by team play.
Three days, three rounds:

Wild Card Friday — Seed #3 vs. Seed #6 and Seed #4 vs. Seed #5, best-of-three, winners advance.
Semifinal Saturday — Seed #1 and Seed #2 enter, each facing a Friday survivor in a best-of-three series.
Championship Sunday — The two remaining teams meet for the CNPL Championship.

Within these teams are the heart and soul of our league: Canada's top professional pickleball players, alongside the international talent that has made the CNPL one of the most competitive team leagues in the sport. From seasoned veterans to rising stars, this is the deepest field the league has ever sent into a playoff weekend.
The Field
Five teams have already clinched their place in Waterloo:

London Smash (18–4) — the class of the 2026 regular season
Grand River Rapids (16–6) — playing on home soil in Waterloo Region
Toronto United Pickleball Club (16–6)
Montreal Lions (11–11) — the defending CNPL champions
Vancouver Owls (11–11)

The sixth and final playoff berth will be decided at the Season Finale in Burnaby, BC on August 29 & 30. Seeding for all six teams is confirmed once the Finale is complete.

Competition at Its Peak: The best team pickleball in the country, with a championship on the line in every series.
Championship Sunday: The trophy is presented on court, in front of the fans who followed this season from Toronto to PEI to Vancouver.

Get ready for two action-packed days of professional rodeo, live entertainment and fall festival fun at the 2nd Annual Wasaga Beach Mayor’s Charity RAM Rodeo and Hootenanny Fall Festival.
Cheer on the cowboys and cowgirls of the RAM Rodeo Tour, enjoy food, vendors and family-friendly fun, and get the kids in on the action with the Canadian Cowgirls Kids Rodeo—included with admission.
Then, when the rodeo ends Saturday night, the dancing begins at the Mayor’s Charity Two-Step Social under the stars.
It’s a weekend packed with energy, community spirit and unforgettable moments—all while raising funds for local charities.

Grab your friends and head to the Two-Step Social under the stars for a high-energy night of country music, line dancing, two-stepping, great food and cold drinks.
A DJ will get the dance floor moving with today’s top country hits, fan favourites and the hottest country mashups before live music takes over. Whether you know every step or are learning as you go, this is one social you won’t want to miss.
Need a break from the dance floor? Grab a cold drink from the licensed bar and something hot and delicious from the food trucks serving throughout the night.

Q: How do I enter my exhibits in the Fall Fair?
A: Check out our Advanced Prize List under the ‘Fall Fair’ tab on our website. Entries MUST be submitted online via Assist Expo. Double check each individual Class ‘Rules & Regulations’. Bring your entries to the fair Wednesday night or Thursday morning to be judged.
 
Q: Are there accessible facilities?
A: Yes, the Milton Fairgrounds is wheelchair accessible! However, we are a fairground with many outside events and walkways are not paved.
 
Q: What is included with my gate admission?
A: Just about every attraction or activity is included in your gate admission. This includes Demolition Derbies, Truck and Tractor Pulls, Live Bands, Performers, Animal displays and shows, Livestock and Homecraft Exhibits and much more. Some activities are not included and must be paid to the provider.
 
Q: Where do we park?
A: Limited parking is onsite for a $10 fee. Please follow the volunteers’ directions.

About the hosts: 
Emma Della Rossa is a songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist whose music is defined by vulnerable storytelling, dreamy acoustic-pop production, and confessional lyrics. She is the creator and host of Bedroom Studios Podcast and the founder of Toronto Music Gals Network. As a songwriter-producer she seamlessly blends her training as a classical flutist with an intuitive approach to creation. Emma’s upcoming self-produced EP, Handle With Care, explores themes of healing, resilience, and reconnecting with your inner child.
Angela Saini brings feel-good vibes wherever she goes with her toe-tapping blend of rootsy folk-pop and sing-along storytelling. Toronto Music Gals Network

Join Toronto-based Cree-Métis artist Marissa Magneson for a beginner-friendly beading workshop. Through this hands-on workshop, participants will walk away with a greater understanding of Indigenous beadwork, tools, and techniques as they work to complete a small beaded Orange Shirt pin. No experience is necessary. 
A note from the artist: “I include ceremonial tobacco in these pins, recognizing that learning and discussing topics including, but not limited to, residential schools is heavy. The medicine is there to help us in navigating those feelings, while marking our commitment to and responsibility of reconciliAction. Likewise, this becomes a part of the ceremony found within this workshop, as the medicine is added in the community, making everyone a part of that work.”
Participants are invited to fill their pins with ceremonial tobacco, one of the four sacred medicines, but this step is not mandatory.

About the FacilitatorMarissa Magneson is a Cree-Métis artist, photographer, educator, and workshop facilitator currently pursuing her Ph.D. at York University in the Faculty of Education, where she is researching Beadwork as Pedagogy: A Bridge Towards Cultural Reclamation and (re)Conciliation. She has a BFA honours degree from York University (Toronto, Canada) and a Master’s degree in Canadian and Indigenous Studies from Trent University (Peterborough, Canada). Her research explores Indigenous methodologies using beadwork as visual storytelling. Marissa’s work is rooted in decolonizing education, strengthening community, and cultural reclamation. In her collaborative work with various organizations, Marissa works towards photographing, consulting, educating, and creating programming in meaningful ways. Marissa would like to acknowledge her maternal grandmother, Elaine Jessop, whose life-long work on Indigenous women’s rights inspires her own journey.
