Stephen Olson is a classically-trained guitarist who learned to play Chet Atkins thumb-picking from his Uncle Lyndy. By playing bass and melody lines simultaneously, Stephen can authentically replicate the country and rockabilly sounds of the 1950s. Stephen draws the audiences in with his electric performances and stories from this golden era of music.

Fran has worked an eclectic mix of jobs including youth worker, career counsellor, proposal writer, and a ten-year stint as VP for a career consulting firm. Her short stories have appeared in literary journals from coast to coast, and her plays have been produced for both theatre and radio. Fran has published two novels. The Shore Girl landed on the CBC Top 40-Book List and won the Alberta Reader’s Choice Award. No Good Asking, shortlisted for the 2019 Georges Bugnet and ReLit Awards, has been translated for international markets. Fran’s third novel, Cattail Lane, hit bookshelves in the spring of 2025.

Ready to dip your toes (and fingers) into the world of rope play?
In this immersive beginner-friendly workshop, we’re diving into the essential knots and techniques used in harnesses, suspensions, and creative rope flow. You'll learn the foundations and then get a little playful. This isn’t just about tying knots; it’s about connection, creativity, and creating art with rope.
Whether you're brand new to rope or looking to refresh your skills, this experience is designed to help you build confidence, spark curiosity, and get hands-on in a safe, welcoming environment. Come solo or bring a partner; we’ll pair you up if needed!
 
Workshop Schedule:
3:00-4:00pm - Intro to Rope: Speaking & Safety Foundations.
4:00–5:00pm -  Guided instruction and hands-on tying practice.
5:15–6:00pm -  Live Rope Performance by Tiger (included with all tickets, pending minimum registration.)

Burlesque is a performance art rooted in parody and satire that evolved into the "art of the tease". It evokes empowerment, creativity, and self-expression through movement, musicality, and giving yourself permission to take up space.
This class is an invitation to step into character, presence and self-love while honouring the rich, radical roots of burlesque. You can expect a playful, positive, and inclusive space where confidence is cultivated and all bodies and identities are celebrated.
Open Play - 6-7pm
Open Play is your access to explore all things Forum. Run the warped wall, get a workout in, play on the silks, climb the rope, or move however feels good in your body. You’re also welcome to use this time to practice movement or burlesque skills you just learned earlier in the evening. ;)
This is a self-led, unstructured session. Participants must be familiar with the apparatuses they choose to use. This is not an instructed class. It’s simply time and space for you to practice, explore, and play in a way that feels aligned for you.

You’ll be guided through skills, transitions, and partner connection with an emphasis on safety, trust, and clear communication.

Bull Skit Comedy’s Open Jam – a welcoming, low-pressure space to explore the joy of improv in all its spontaneous glory! Whether you're brand new to the stage or a seasoned performer looking to shake off the rust, this jam is all about play, connection, and building the basics.
We’ll warm up with simple exercises rooted in the foundations of improv: listening, agreement ("Yes, and!"), character creation, and collaborative storytelling. From there, we’ll open up the floor to try out scenes, games, and maybe even a few wild experiments. No scripts. No pressure. Just laughter, learning, and letting go.

New to partner acrobatics? This class is designed specifically for you.
Beginner foundations is a structured progression for those who are brand new, or still building confidence in the basics. During these classes, we focus on core skills, body positioning, communication, safety, and trust so you build strength and technique the right way from day one.
No experience required. You do not need a partner to join.
 
You will learn:
➳ Foundational shapes and positions.
➳ Proper spotting and safety mechanics.
➳ Clear partner communication.
➳ Base and flyer roles.
➳ Strength and conditioning specific to Acro.
 
We move intentionally. We repeat skills. We build strong foundations before progressing.
Participants complete Beginner Foundations before moving into intermediate classes to ensure safety, confidence, and a solid technical base.
Whether you're curious, nervous, excited, or all three, this is your starting point.
