Sherlock Holmes is on the case. The male heirs of the Baskerville line are being dispatched one by one. To find their ingenious killer, Holmes and Watson must brave the desolate moors before a family curse dooms its newest heir. Does a wild hellhound prowl the moors of Devonshire? Can our heroes discover the truth in time?

The only good thing about not shopping in record stores like we used to is that you don’t have to figure out what genre to look for Danny under. If that were the case, you could try searching under rock, pop, folk, world, or even classical. His own self-described musical A.D.D. has kept his music fresh for decades.
Maybe it has something to do with being born next to a candy factory, but his thoughtful lyrics and charming performances have earned him a devoted fan base, multiple Juno nominations, Polaris Prize nominations, CBC’s Heart of Gold award, and wins for the CFMA’s Producer of the Year and Oliver Schroder Pushing the Boundaries awards.
His adventurous musical spirit has led him on unique journeys, from recording and touring with The Garifuna Collective (from Belize) to recording an album aboard a Soviet-era icebreaker in the Arctic while on an expedition with astronaut Chris Hadfield. Albums like Matadora and Khlebnikov explore themes of human connection, the environment, and the cosmos.
Beyond music, Danny is passionate about social causes. He founded the DM Ocean Academy Fund to support a non-profit high school in Belize. His charm, creative performances, and wide-ranging interests have made him a beloved figure not only in music but also in charitable and environmental circles. This has led to unique performances, including playing at Jane Goodall’s 85th birthday, David Suzuki’s 75th, and touring with Stuart McLean’s Vinyl Cafe.
His latest album, Ghost Town, is a deeply personal and vulnerable collection of songs born from the pandemic, showcasing his most introspective work to date.

Being the youngest member of a musical family, Sam Polley grew up in the music industry, but took his own time to join the family business. Forming Sam Polley and The Old Tomorrows in downtown Toronto in 2017, Sam Polley surrounded himself with local musicians that he knew had similar musical interests, recruiting brothers Tally and Gianni Ferraro (bass and drums), and guitar player extraordinaire, Fraser Melvin. The band quickly meshed and played their first show to a sold out Cameron House Crowd.
At the beginning of 2018, the band headed to the studio to record their first EP, which they recorded in one long day at Pacha Sound Studio in Toronto (leading to the name, EP in a Day). With the new EP in hand, Sam Polley embarked on a cross country tour as a featured artist on the Jim Cuddy Band Constellation tour. Once back, Sam Polley and The Old Tomorrows continued to tour the EP through the rest of the year, and into 2019, playing both festivals and cities throughout Ontario.
Building off the success of their EP, Sam Polley and The Old Tomorrows then headed back to the studio to finish their debut album, ‘Time Forgot’, this time at the famous Woodshed Studio. Drawing their sound from 50’s and 60’s rockabilly licks, old country twang, and Motown swing, blending genres to create an upbeat boogie with groovy hooks, an album that’s sure to get you up and dancing.
Having decided to tap into their desire for the golden era, Sam Polley and The Old Tomorrows released a 45 vinyl this past year, with ‘Another Love’ as the a-side, and ‘Wasted Love’ as the b-side. Now the band is back on the road, touring coast to coast, and as always, getting people up and dancing.

The Artichoke Hearts is the indie folk-pop project led by Wakefield Quebec singer-songwriter Caitlin Dolan. Drawing inspiration from nature, mental health, and the complexities of human connection, The Artichoke Hearts craft songs that invite listeners to peel back their layers—much like their namesake—to uncover raw emotion and truth. Their live show is a rare thrill - a no holds barred fusion of piano, violin, accordion, trumpet and powerful three-part harmonies.
In 2024, The Artichoke Hearts released their first full length album ‘No Other Road’ to a sold out crowd at the NAC Fourth Stage, following their first Ottawa Bluesfest performance earlier that summer. 2025 has brought two new singles and performances at local favourite folk venues such as Motel Chelsea and Ottawa’s Red Bird.

September 2022 – Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman, died in Tehran while in the custody of the "morality” police after she was arrested for “improper hijab”. Days after her death, protesters flooded the streets chanting “Zan, Zendegi, Azadi.”
“Women, Life, Freedom.”
A week before Mahsa’s death, Ava Alavi moved to Canada from Iran.
As her friends in Iran joined in yelling “Zan, Zendegi, Azadi”, Ava was here, safe but stuck. Shouting "Women, Life, Freedom" from thousands of miles away, she needed to do something. So she created Sound, merging her personal experiences as a woman raised in Iran with the broader political and social struggles unfolding in her home country.
Sound carries the echoes of generations of women living under oppression, their moments of silence, survival, and defiance merging into one collective voice. It serves as proof that in a place designed to erase them, to exist is to rebel.

Besides playing traditional tunes often 'non-traditionally', Meredith presents a powerful, warbling voice and highly contemporary clawhammer banjo style which has gained acclaim within the international old-time and Americana music community. She is a multi-instrumentalist, incorporating finger-style/travis picking guitar, piano and lap dulcimer into her performances. Along with an endorsement from Gold Tone Music Group and a recent recording deal with True North Records/Linus Entertainment, Meredith Moon has been a regular in the folk music and folk festival circuit for over a decade.
In the last eight years, she has herself booked and toured Canada, Mexico, The United States, Central America, the UK and Europe. Beginning in her friend's living rooms and DIY spaces, her audience evolved through the last decade to include festival and theatre dates, with many milestones under her belt. Her first full-length album, "Forest Far Away" was released independently in May of 2018, and she released "Constellations" on True North Records/Linus Entertainment in March of 2023. Her second release garnered international acclaim; was nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award for Traditional Album of the Year, and was on the Folk Alliance International top 10 Album Chart two months running in April and May 2023.

As soon as she could stretch high up over her head to reach the keys, Sarah Hagen began pulling music out of her family’s dusty, melodious, 1910 upright piano. In her childhood she devoured every score in sight, feasting on soulful gospel tunes, electric etudes that sizzled with electricity, and nocturnes that could make grown men weep into their tea. Out of this grew a passion for drawing notes off the page, throwing them up in the air, and watching in wonderment where they fell. This dreamy adventure has taken her Rachmaninoff-playing hands around the world to shows in a rustic mountain bar, fancypants big city concert halls and even a fountain. Twice.  The words “something to absolutely die for” have been spoken about both her fourth album (and also her mother’s chocolate cake).
 Sarah’s inspiration comes from strange dreams after a midnight feast with friends, three words strung together in a novel, a ridiculous joke, baskets of poignant memories. With stirring authenticity and rawness to her playing, Sarah invites her audience on a journey into the secret corners of the human heart.
“Lovesick!” - a concert exploring romance and heartbreak in classical music. Through storytelling and music by Satie, Bach, Piazzolla and more, Sarah Hagen delves into the love stories (good and bad!) of some of her favourite composers.

French Necromancer Raises a Skeleton That Only Speaks English by The Lighter Touch Art Collective
A French necromancer is trapped while trying to steal a famous grimoire. In order to escape, they raise a skeleton to do their bidding and set them free. The problem is this skeleton only speaks English. Every attempt to regain authority only makes things worse. It’s fast, dumb, sharp, and uncomfortable in exactly the right way.
Genuinely bilingual. The switching is constant and structural, not decorative.
 
Pilgrimage by Breanne Oryschak
Imagine the Bible meets Don Quixote if it was a Western reimagined in a Beckettian world. Clayton and Vanessa are pilgrims on a sacred mission until they encounter the end of Thomas’ gun barrel – a secularist protecting his land. A mock-epic battle ensues about the most righteous path.
Mostly English. Other languages (French, Spanish, Latin, religious language) appear as texture, ritual, or ideological markers.
 
White As Snow by Rose-Ingrid Benjamin  
A solo built from old journals, songs that won’t let go, and the act of saying things out loud for the first time. The piece looks back without trying to clean anything up. It sits with what stays.

The theatrical play "Mother Sea" by Djennie Laguerre tells the story of Marjolaine, a Haitian Canadian storyteller, who embarks on a journey of self-discovery, cultural reconnection, and healing. The narrative is deeply rooted in Afro-Haitian mythology and traditions, blending storytelling, music, and dance to explore themes of identity, family, and heritage. The play begins with Marjolaine recounting her childhood, where she had visions of the future that her mother discouraged, fearing they would tie her to a life of mysticism and hardship. Prompting a mysterious sickness that only Manman La mè, her grandmother, can cure.

En deuxième année, le jeune Donny, âgé de 7 ans vit une altercation avec un camarade de classe pendant la récréation. Ce conflit de cour d’école déclenchera une série d’événements qui remonteront jusqu’aux hautes sphères de l'administration du Ministère de l'éducation et mettront à l’épreuve la résilience de Donny et sa famille face à l’injustice. Dans ce spectacle solo raconté du point de vue de sa mère, l’autrice, s’entremêlent les codes du TED Talk, de la poésie, du slam et du théâtre documentaire. Ça rime avec vinaigre s’appuie sur les faits réellement vécus par ce garçon et ses proches pour mettre en lumière les inégalités systémiques qui perdurent dans notre société.

In second grade, 7-year-old Donny gets into an altercation with a classmate during recess. This schoolyard conflict triggers a series of events that reach the highest levels of the Department of Education and test Donny and his family's resilience in the face of injustice. In this solo show, told from the perspective of his mother, the playwright, the codes of TED Talks, poetry, slam, and documentary theatre intertwine. Ça rime avec vinaigre (Rhymes with Vinegar) is based on the real-life experiences of this boy and his loved ones to highlight the systemic inequalities that persist in our society.

Ashley plays the fiddle with an intensity, authenticity and passion that is hard to deny. He learned his chops at an early age mentored by some of the legendary greats of the area, performing all over the Island in halls, clubs, barns and kitchens. Hi How Are You was released in the mid 90's and the accolades rolled in, the awards, the touring, the interviews and appearances, the persona took shape and the legend took hold.

Each month Bluegrass Wednesdays begins with a 2 hour concert followed by a jam session.
Concert goers are encouraged to bring your instruments and /or voices and join in for a post concert jam.
 
Maple Hill is an award winning bluegrass band that brings energy, emotion, fun and a dash of the lost art of vaudevillian entertainment to their show. Maple Hill covers the full range of bluegrass from the early hard-edge blues through gospel and on to today’s great songwriters, including original compositions. Bluegrass Mondays audience will enjoy the powerful vocals with strong supportive instrumental backup rooted in a traditional sound.
The band membership has evolved over the years. Co-founders Garry Greenland (guitar & vocals) and Pat Moore (bass and vocals), and long time member Kevin Golka (mandolin & vocals) are now joined by Dana Arrowsmith whose dynamic fiddle playing brings an exciting new dimension to the band's sound. Heather Aitken is the newest member, bringing that much needed 5 string banjo into the mix. Garry, Pat, Kevin and Heather all share the lead and harmony vocals, keeping things fresh and interesting throughout the performance.Heart, drive, deep blues, inspiration, a tight vocal blend, fun filled interplay, and an intimate relationship with the audience are some of the things that describe a Maple Hill performance.

The only good thing about not shopping in record stores like we used to is that you don’t have to figure out what genre to look for Danny under. If that were the case, you could try searching under rock, pop, folk, world, or even classical. His own self-described musical A.D.D. has kept his music fresh for decades.
Maybe it has something to do with being born next to a candy factory, but his thoughtful lyrics and charming performances have earned him a devoted fan base, multiple Juno nominations, Polaris Prize nominations, CBC’s Heart of Gold award, and wins for the CFMA’s Producer of the Year and Oliver Schroder Pushing the Boundaries awards.
His adventurous musical spirit has led him on unique journeys, from recording and touring with The Garifuna Collective (from Belize) to recording an album aboard a Soviet-era icebreaker in the Arctic while on an expedition with astronaut Chris Hadfield. Albums like Matadora and Khlebnikov explore themes of human connection, the environment, and the cosmos.
Beyond music, Danny is passionate about social causes. He founded the DM Ocean Academy Fund to support a non-profit high school in Belize. His charm, creative performances, and wide-ranging interests have made him a beloved figure not only in music but also in charitable and environmental circles. This has led to unique performances, including playing at Jane Goodall’s 85th birthday, David Suzuki’s 75th, and touring with Stuart McLean’s Vinyl Cafe.
His latest album, Ghost Town, is a deeply personal and vulnerable collection of songs born from the pandemic, showcasing his most introspective work to date.
