Limited parking is available and free on the grounds, but if you live locally, walking to the grounds is encouraged!
Entrance is at 2600 Regional Rd 56, Binbrook ON, L0R 1C0 for both pedestrians and vehicles.
The event runs from 9:30am to 2:00pm, with specific timed hunt times during the event. Please be sure to arrive at the hunt field 30 minutes prior to your selected hunt time.
The sensory friendly/accessible hunt which is new this year is geared towards children that are differently labeled including those with mobility issues and those with sensory sensitivities. This hunt will be held at the same location but at a different field to accommodate for mobility requirements.
New in 2026! We have split the preschool hunt into two time slots; one at 10am and the other at 10:30am and the Grade 5/6 + hunt will be held on the sensory hunt field rather than the main hunt field location.

"The Play That Goes Wrong" is a comedic play about a drama society attempting to stage a murder mystery called "The Murder at Haversham Manor". However, due to a series of mishaps, everything that can go wrong, does. The play follows the accident-prone thespians of The Cornley Drama Society as they battle against props falling apart, forgotten lines, and other technical difficulties, all while trying to keep the plot afloat. The audience witnesses a chaotic and hilarious attempt to reach the final curtain call.

With a gorgeous voice, impressive guitar and bass skills, and an engagingly candid performance style, Suzie will be performing songs from her award-winning catalogue of roots and blues recordings.
A celebrated artist, Suzie has won 12 Maple Blues Awards, two Canadian Folk Music Awards for Contemporary Vocalist, and is a 3-time Juno nominee. She has toured nationally with Downchild, Stuart McLean’s The Vinyl Café, and the John McDermott Band. She has also performed for Canadian Peacekeepers abroad and was the voice of Tim Horton’s for five years. Her latest album is Fall Back Home.

Along the way, we will visit all the planets, some of the most interesting moons, and even more if time permits!

The planetarium is not like a TV screen – it’s an immersive environment, and the perspective could be unsettling for younger kids who are not yet able to process the information. “This is the oral tradition that I have passed down to the Haudenosaunee, the people of Six Nations, from one generation to the next.  I now pass that tradition onto you so you will also know and understand the teachings contained in iotsistohkwaronnion (the stars), and when you see me in the sky you will also remember my words.”  
Join us for another fascinating show that blends local culture, history, and modern-day astronomy and shares the Six Nations’ sky lore and language through traditional Indigenous night-sky stories.  With narration and visuals by a live presentation and pre-recorded excerpts (in English and Mohawk), learn about the story of Onekwá:tara – the Seven Dancers of the Pleiades, and how the story is portrayed in the night sky.  See the same stars with a completely different understanding and appreciation!  
This show was collaboratively produced by members of the Six Nations, McMaster’s Indigenous Studies Department, and the McCallion Planetarium.

Easter Chocolate Making Workshop *Family Friendly* (Hamilton)

"Conducting Against the Room” is led by an international research partnership between McMaster University, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW, Switzerland), and the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics (Germany), together with Danish conductor Prof. Morten Schuldt-Jensen who has brought together a local "pop-up choir" of singers from the GTHA.
The project explores how singers and conductors adapt to different room acoustics and how this may shape vocal effort, ensemble sound, and the audience experience. 
 
The Concert
A 15-minute "Science Snapshot" from LIVELab's Dr. Lauren Fink will open the concert event, explaining the virtual acoustics system of the LIVELab and the mobile physiological sensors LIVELab has to measure singer and audience reactions. Audiences will be invited (but absolutely not required!) to participate in our live experiment.
An approximately 45-minute choral concert program will follow the Science Snapshot, consisting of music from composers Gustav Holst, Anton Bruckner, Maurice Duruflé, as well as renowned Scandinavian composers. 
 
There are two chances to see the concert:
Sunday, April 19th and Monday, April 20th, 2026
On both days, doors open at 7pm and the concert starts at 7:30pm, running approximately 1 hour.

Morten Schuldt-Jensen is an internationally acclaimed Danish conductor and choral specialist. Former Professor of Choral & Orchestral Conducting in Freiburg (until 2024), he was Chief Director of Choral Activities at the Leipzig Gewandhaus (1999–2006) and founder of the internationally renowned Gewandhaus Chamber Choir. As choir master, he has worked with world-class ensembles – including the Berlin Philharmonic – and alongside maestros such as Sir Simon Rattle and Sir John Eliot Gardiner.

Each class features a thoughtfully curated soup-and-bread pairing inspired by the flavours of the month, ranging from cozy winter classics like matza ball or split pea soup to bright, globally inspired options such as Thai coconut vegetable curry or Moroccan vegetable soup. While the menu changes throughout the year, every session stands on its own and teaches the essential foundations of great soup-making and bread baking—no prior experience required.
Guided by expert instruction, you’ll explore the core building blocks behind every successful soup, including flavour balancing, texture development, and umami layering. You’ll learn how aromatic bases shape a soup’s identity, how to adjust seasoning with confidence, and how to build depth without relying strictly on recipes.
