Paint Party at the SF Teaching Zoo

The SF Teaching Zoo is partnering with Pinspiration Gainesville for a Paint Party at the zoo! Artists ages 13+ are invited to register for this guided painting event to create their very own turtle art piece on July 10 at 10 am at the SF Teaching Zoo. Registration fee of $25 includes zoo admission, the guided painting experience with all supplies, and an animal encounter. 

Participants should check in at the ticket window by 9:50 a.m. The paint party will begin at 10:00 a.m. behind the scenes in the zoo's classroom. The paint party will last about 90 minutes, and will include a meet and greet with a special animal ambassador. Participants are welcome to explore the zoo following the painting session until 3:00 p.m. 

Due to space limitations, the paint party is limited to 40 participants and all ticket sales are final. 

 

The paint party coincides with the Natural Beauty exhibit at the SF Art Gallery, highlighting the charm and artistry of the natural world. The art gallery is open Monday – Friday from 10 am – 4 pm and is free and open to the public. Natural Beauty will be on display from July 1st through August 5th with special weekend hours on July 23 and 24, coinciding with Zookeeper Days at the Zoo.
