Description

The Sacred Temple Arts of Hathor: A Ritual Immersion in the Ancient Egyptian Mysteries
With Sharron Rose & Adey Bell

Step outside the boundaries of ordinary time and enter the luminous world of the Ancient Egyptian temple arts. In this immersive, experiential workshop, award-winning filmmaker, choreographer, composer, and Master Teacher Sharron Rose — drawing on decades of deep scholarly research and embodied practice in the sacred arts of Egypt, India, Tibet, and the Middle East — guides participants into a living transmission of the healing wisdom of Hathor, the beautiful Egyptian Goddess of music, dance, joy, love, and healing.

Accompanied by the luminous voice of singer and composer Adey Bell — whose ethereal yet powerful vocal presence creates harmonic soundscapes that dissolve boundaries and open the heart — this workshop comes alive through original compositions from Sharron Rose's forthcoming album The Nectar of Bliss: A Musical Journey into the Many Faces of the Goddess, a ten-year immersive odyssey into the sacred Goddess traditions of Egypt, India, Tibet, China, Africa, and beyond.

The workshop opens with a sacred Egyptian invocation — calling in the powers of protection, purification, and healing from the six directions — before guiding participants through the symbolic language of the ancient temple arts. Through chants and prayers drawn from the original hieroglyphic texts, sacred mudras and hand gestures, ritual postures and movements from ancient Egyptian art, and the sound of the sistrum — Hathor's magical instrument of harmony and balance — participants will be gently and joyfully initiated into the living mysteries of the Goddess.

This is not a performance to be witnessed, but a sacred experience to be felt, embodied, and carried home. Participants will learn to perceive and speak the symbolic language of Hathor through their own bodies — purifying the heart, awakening the subtle energy bodies, and opening to the healing power of Sekhem, the vital life force of ancient Egypt.

No prior experience is necessary. All are welcome. Please bring a rattle or sistrum if available.
