The Ethiopia-born, Whistler, British Columbia-based artist ZADA continues to explore all facets of her creative journey with an unwavering sense of purpose, as expressed in the aural stories she authors. The balance between beauty and grit, within self and surroundings, is the sonic setting that grounds ZADA’s artistry. ZADA’s voice and arrangements are unexpected in theory, yet aligned in practice.

Since the start of her career, ZADA has steered her vision with a critical eye and sharp perspective, pursuing an active role in all of her multimedia components - film, fashion, and riveting performance. Building connections and understanding international audiences has remained paramount throughout her career. Since setting her career afloat, ZADA has rocked many stages, including the Whistler Summer Concert Series, with multiple shows in Toronto, Victoria, Tofino, and New York. Black Girls Rock in Collaboration with BET presented at the Kennedy Centre (Washington, DC), a mini tour at SXSW A.T., and, in 2025, JunoFest. In 2024, ZADA supported Bring Back Hope, an initiative helping children in Africa, and acknowledged the work of humanitarian, Dr. Rick Hodes. Prior to the Gala, ZADA performed alongside local artists at Vancouver's Hollywood Theatre for the BC Children's Hospital Benefit Concert in October 2024. ZADA has stepped in to support multiple tours for artists such as Alex Porat, Tei Shi, and Too Many Zooz, and is spending 2026 building a memorable show to take on the road.

He has shared stages with artists including Kizz Daniel, Ruger, BNXN, Rotimi, NSG, ODUMODUBLVCK, and L.A.X., while captivating audiences through his dynamic 5-piece live band experience. Born in Lagos, Nigeria and based in Canada, TOMMYPHYLL combines Afrobeats, R&B, and contemporary African influences into a sound that is both globally accessible and deeply rooted in African storytelling. Whether performing for thousands at festivals or creating intimate moments with audiences, his music is built around connection, movement, and joy.
