YYC Tech Slo-Pitch: The 2026 Season 🥎

Before the tech community gears up for the YYC Tech Gives campaign this fall, we’re hitting the diamonds for some Spring Training!

YYC Tech Slo-Pitch is a two tournament series designed to bring Calgary Tech together while supporting one of the city's vital community resources with a portion of proceeds from these tournaments going directly to the Calgary Food Bank.

Tournament Details:
Date: Sunday June 7th, 2026
Time: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Full schedule circulated closer to the date).
Where: Jaycee Slo-Pitch Park 1899 39 Ave NE, Calgary, AB T2E 6W7
Note: Lunch available for purchase at the event no outside food or drink is permitted.

Registration:
Teams - $200 per Team:
Ensure a Full Team - Teams must have at least 9 players present on game day.
Bring your Equipment - Teams need to bring their own Bats, Balls + Gloves

Individuals - $10 per Player:
Teams Assigned - Individual registrants will be assigned to a team so you can meet new faces in the Calgary tech scene.
Bring your Glove - Individuals need to bring their own Glove.

Reminder: There are first time players in this league - if you're looking for complete field domination or to improve your RBI, this might not be the league for you.

This tournament we will be playing for The Hardwired Champion Trophy presented by Product Calgary. 


Deadline to register is May 29th.

Come out, swing for the fences, and help us tackle food insecurity in our city.
