Description

Join us for a powerful and practical Youth Career Event organized by the United Sri Lankan Muslim Council of Canada (USLMCC) and Serendib Youth Canada (SYC) - designed specifically for high school students, recent graduates, early-career professionals, and those looking to switch or restart their careers.

This event features peer-to-peer mentorship and interactive sessions led by successful young professionals from our own community across various sectors including technology, healthcare, trades, business, finance, law, entrepreneurship, and more.

You’ll gain:

  • Real-world insights from those who’ve navigated the path successfully
  • Tools to prepare for interviews, build your network, and reduce workplace stress
  • Guidance on identifying career paths, skill upgrade programs, and funding opportunities
  • One-on-one access to mentors and professionals who understand your journey

Our goal is simple: Equip you with clarity, confidence, and connections to make informed decisions and maximize your career potential.

Whether you're just getting started or figuring out your next move - this is your opportunity to identify tools and strategies to fine tune your future career path.

Parents/guardians are welcome to attend the event to take advantage of the information shared at the event on how the family can support career growth to enable career success of their family members.
