young friend (Vancouver) // https://www.facebook.com/itsyoungfriend

young friend likes to wear all of his influences on his sleeve at once. The born-and-raised North Vancouver native has a hybrid musical palette that finds him in the indie & alt-rock space just as often as it has moments where he’s a rapper or an r&b crooner. It all comes packaged with an effortless pop sheen & sleek, honest imagery. young friend explores his seemingly limitless boundaries while maintaining a clear balance, making him native one of the more impressive new efforts in the indie-pop field today.

Michaela Slinger (Vancouver) // https://www.facebook.com/michaelslingermusic

Michaela Slinger is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Vancouver, BC.

Scribbly Doodle (Vancouver) // https://www.facebook.com/scribbly.doodle

Hi! I'm Scribbly Doodle - a beatboxing, guitar playing, drumming, bottle blowing looper.
By day I hang off buildings, cleaning windows and making noises.
By night I do other things equally exciting things, also making noises.
And then I take those noises, and foster them until they create an overly complicated dance,
full of ups and downs, twists and turns, love and hate, life and death
all unknowingly bound together in a giant, scribbly, doodley loop

Tessa (Vancouver) // https://www.facebook.com/tessaofficial

Influenced by her big-city upbringing in Vancouver, BC and her love for the sounds of artists like Joni Mitchell and Bruce Springsteen, Tessa’s music embodies a blend of country, folk and pop that places honest storytelling, and lyricism, at the forefront. Since the release of her debut EP in 2014, Tessa’s music has evolved with her maturing talent. Tessa, who studied at the Sarah McLachlan School of Music in Vancouver, won the international songwriting competition “Your Voice in the Park” at 14 years old. Now a published poet and TEDx speaker, the singer-songwriter has performed on stages across North America, with highlights including the Massey Theatre, the Rio Theatre, Austin’s 501 Studies and Nashville’s esteemed Listening Room and Douglas Corner Cafe.

The songwriter, who splits her time between the West Coast and Nashville, TN, aims to release new music in 2019.
