Description
From inciting incident, through confrontation, crises and resolution, discover how a character-driven narrative can transform plot. Learn the power of scene-work: how weaving together distinctive dialogue and action reveals motivation. Examine interior monologue, its uses and abuses, and its potential for “narrative claustrophobia.” Through writing and discussion, you will experience how to get under the skin of your characters by describing the world they see.
This class is suitable for emerging writers and is instructed by Tim Wynne-Jones.
*Please note: there will be a 1-hour lunch break from 11:30-12:30.
