Sommo Presents: Wintersleep

Wintersleep, indie-rock stalwarts, hail from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Formed in 2001, the band is composed of five members; Paul Murphy, Mike Bigelow, Loel Campbell, Tim D'eon and Jon Samuel. In 2008 the group won a Juno Award for New Group of the Year.

Like all Wintersleep records, In the Land Of, encourages thought and introspection. The record follows 2016’s The Great Detachment, which saw lead single “Amerika” spend 11 consecutive weeks atop Canada’s rock radio charts. Drawing across 7 albums worth of material, their set promises to be varied and bespoke, full of joy and surprise. Come join us!
