Winter Solstice Concert
Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024
Featuring WomEnchant Chorus & Drummers, hosted by Niagara Peninsula Conservation Foundation.
Now in its third year, the Winter Solstice Concert will again take place at scenic Ball's Falls in celebration of the change in season.
Set in the beautiful Glen Elgin Room of the Centre for Conservation, the event embraces nature on the verge of winter and aims to raise funds to protect our cherished wilderness.
JOIN US as we bask in the warmth of music and fellowship and welcome the season of rest and renewal.
Featured artists:
Funds raised through this event support restoration and education programs in the Niagara Peninsula watershed and help protect Niagara's natural legacy - now and into the future.
Tickets: Adults/Seniors $25 (includes free parking)
Children 12 and under are free (please select children's tickets to ensure adequate seating).
A water station will be available - please bring your reusable container.

Silent Auction - Bid on an original nature-inspired painting by local artist Lise Daniel specially created for this event, and more! From adventure tours, sporting events, wine packages and native planting expertise, to art and collectible items, find your treasure here while contributing to the protection of our environment!
To improve access and buyer experience, Silent Auction items will be available online for viewing/bidding the week before the event (credit card required). Successful bidders not attending the event will be able to collect their prize the following day. Visit can.givergy.com/npcf-auction to register and bid.
Additional auction items for in-person viewing/bidding will be offered. (Cash, debit and credit card payments accepted for these items only).
Donations to Niagara Peninsula Conservation Foundation may be made during ticket purchase, or in person at the concert. Tax receipts will be issued at a later date. Donate via the NPCF website for an immediate tax receipt.
In the spirit of the season, we'll also be collecting non-perishable food donations for Village of Hope Niagara (items such as cereals, pasta, canned sauces and soups, canned meats and fish, canned vegetables, and baking ingredients such as flour, salt, sugar and spices).

WomEnchant is a community chorus of women’s voices, committed to promoting peace, social justice, respect for planet earth and making positive changes in the world through sisterhood and song.
For over 25 years, WomEnchant has performed in support of events and organizations that raise funds and awareness about important issues in our world. The addition of the Drummers group over 10 years ago brought a new dimension to WomEnchant performances. The music we sing reflects our commitment to peace, equality and respect for all people and the world. We actively support women composers, arrangers and performers.
