Winter Season Opener and Squamish SAR Fundraiser

Winter’s knocking, and it’s time to answer. 

Zenith Mountain Guides, SkiUphill Squamish and the Sea to Sky Gondola are teaming up to throw down the Squamish preseason kickoff at the Summit Lodge on November 30th 2025. Let’s talk snow, gear up, and get fired up for the season ahead.

The event will take place at the Summit Lodge, starting at 6:00 PM. Participants are invited to arrive early to enjoy a drink from the bar and a limited selection of hot food from the grill. Presentations will begin promptly at 6:30 PM and will wrap up by 8:15 PM.

We’ll have the summit all to ourselves to hang with ski friends, swap early-season stories, and get the lowdown on what’s brewing in the snowpack. Expect a deep dive into conditions from the Zenith crew, a premiere screening of Blank Collective’s Cold Calls, food and bevies at the Summit Lodge, and a raffle for Squamish Search and Rescue.

Tickets are $20, with all profits going to Squamish Search and Rescue, because they’re the real MVPs.

If you’re a passholder, it’s business as usual to upload. Non-passholders? No worries. Grab a special event ticket for $25 at the base station on your way up.
