The Winter Break Up Country Music Festival presented by radio partner JRFM  and is proud to be the official album release event for Dallas Smith! Joining the festival will be The Reklaws and some of the best local Canadian talent including Dane Bateman and Zach McPhee. TradeX will turn into a country music celebration for one night only on Saturday, November 18th. 

The Winter Break Up Music Festival will be a hometown celebration for the launch of the new self-titled album by BC’s Dallas Smith, set to be released on October 27th. A multiple JUNO and Canadian Country Music Award winner, and 2022 Country Music Award nominee, Dallas Smith is one of the most celebrated artists in Canadian country music having amassing 18 Canadian Gold-certified singles, four Canadian Gold-certified albums, and seven Canadian Platinum-certified singles along with more than 500 million combined streams to date

Dallas Smith will be supported by The Reklaws, a one-of-a-kind duo made up of siblings Jenna and Stuart Walker who proudly bring the party to every stage they stand on. They found breakout success with their debut single “Long Live the Night,”and their viral TikTok hit “What the Truck” is the fastest-ever Canadian country song to go PLATINUM in the streaming era. They kicked off 2023 by securing three coveted JUNO nominations for TikTok JUNO Fan’s Choice, Group or Duo of the Year and Country Album of the Year.
