Description

It’s easy to understand the rising popularity of low-intervention wines. In a fast-paced and complex world, there’s something very appealing about stepping back and allowing nature to take its course. At Okanagan Crush Pad, Chief Winemaker Matt Dumayne starts with grapes grown on the winery’s own 320-acre organic farm and vineyard. The winemaking process is as permissive as possible, with minimal handling and fermentation by natural yeasts. The results are outstanding. DJ Kearney leads this guided tasting of OCP wines, including sparkling, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Riesling options, and offers her expert insights on how Dumayne’s tempered approach has influenced what’s in the glass.
