Description
Lily Wilde, a best-selling author, wrestles with the ever-growing pressure to complete her series' final installment. In an effort to get her back on track professionally, her editor and sister engage a young psychologist to help. Jonathan Lake is brilliant and confident in his own abilities but finds himself stymied by Lily’s unique perspective on their sessions. Over time he finds their relationship changing and struggles to adjust—and ends up re-discovering his humanity and what it means to be vulnerable.

Kayley is thrilled to be performing as Lily Wilde in Whales Outside the Window as her MA thesis project! Credits include Henry IV, Philoctetes, Silent Sky, The Diary of Anne Frank, Macbeth, and Antigone (Bob Jones University).
Kayley earned her BA in Theatre from Bob Jones University (2021), and now is in her second and final year of her MA in Theatre. After graduation, she plans to remain in Greenville with her husband, Zachary, while she pursues theatre education and engages in the local theatre community.

Joshua is a senior communication major from Green Bay, Wisconsin. He loves to act in both theatre and short films when given the opportunity. He played Kaminski in the upcoming film Reapers (Kino Cinematix) and has performed in Great Expectations (Herbert) and Fog (Poet) in his time here at school.

Kristin Post holds two degrees in theatre, and is excited to take part in this production of Whales Outside The Window. While currently working as a producer for educational videos, she loves participating as a performer on stage and as an audiobook narrator. Favorite roles include Kate Keller in All My Sons, Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible, and Mrs. Van Daan in The Diary of Anne Frank. Other productions include Hamlet, Comedy of Errors, Love’s Labor’s Lost, Anouilh’s Antigone, and Susan Glaspell’s The Outside. When not performing, she dabbles in writing scripts, and has seen some of her works come to life on stage, including her recent script When Orpheus Sings.

Denver Baughman is thrilled to be a part of Whales Outside the Window as his last college production. A senior Theatre major at Bob Jones University, Denver, has performed in several productions at BJU, including A Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth, Comedy of Errors, and The Matchmaker.
Denver grew up in Illinois and began performing in theatre from a very young age as he fostered a love for the arts. Playing Dexter has been a fantastic experience that has allowed him to be part of a production that leaves a lasting impression on the audience.

Katelin Orr is excited to be a part of this production of Whales Outside the Window! Katelin graduated with her BA in Theatre from Bob Jones University in May of 2022. She is currently finishing the first year of her graduate studies, also in Theatre, here at BJU. She is grateful to have had performance opportunities in several productions during her time in school, including Great Expectations, Flute Dream, A Tale of Two Cities: the Musical, and Alas (and Other Remedies). She can't wait for you to see the show!

A graduate of BJU's Theatre MA program, Nathan is excited to don the director's cap for Whales Outside the Window. He enjoys all aspects of theatre-making—especially the actor-director relationship. Acting credits include Macbeth, The Diary of Anne Frank, Antigone, and All My Sons (Bob Jones University); The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe (South Carolina Children's Theatre); Comedy of Errors and King Lear (Classic Players). Production credits include Traveler in the Dark, Behold! The Gospel of Mark, and The Trip to Bountiful (Bob Jones University). Nathan's original play, When the Bough Breaks, received a public audience at the Leaf Institute of Art and Vocation in 2019.
Nathan currently serves as the Associate Producer for BJU's headlining fine arts events, and he regularly leads theatre workshops and classes for young people. When he's not in rehearsals, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife Lizzie and being daddy to his rambunctious toddler, Asher Flynn.
