Mars – the planet of robots! Since 1971, spacecraft have been landing on the Red Planet, with rovers now exploring its surface. But getting them there safely is no easy mission.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll take on the challenge of designing a safe landing system for a Martian payload. Using everyday materials, you’ll design and build a vessel that can be dropped from as high as possible while keeping its cargo intact.
