The Wailin’ Jennys—Nicky Mehta, Ruth Moody, and Heather Masse—bring together three distinct voices that create an achingly perfect vocal sound. What began as a one-time-only performance in a tiny Winnipeg guitar shop has grown into one of today’s most beloved international folk acts, performing at packed venues across Canada, the US, and throughout the world.
With Juno Award winning albums and Billboard-charting releases, they continue to create some of the most exciting music on the folk-roots scene, stepping up their musical game with each critically lauded recording. Their sound moves effortlessly through folk, alt-country, pop, and rock, combining fresh and innovative sounds with their signature harmonies.
Renowned for their live performances, The Jennys deliver show-stopping harmonies, impressive instrumental prowess, breathtaking songs, and witty stage banter—thrilling audiences wherever they go.
“The Wailin’ Jennys are more than just impeccable bluegrass harmonizers; they’re also terrific bandleaders who give their traditional roots music a sense of real reverence." – NPR
