The Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra is delighted to present a musical afternoon presented by the young and talented members of the Intermediate, Junior & Debut Orchestras under the cherished direction of Maestro Jin Zhang, Maestro Rick Dorfer and Maestra Nadia Petriw.

Our featured “Rising Stars” and Concerto Competition winners will be Hei Wan Au, a young violinist from the Junior Orchestra performing Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 5 in A Major,  Intermediate violinist, Joshua Kuo will delight you with a performance of Lalo's Symphonie Espagnole, first movement and Intermediate flutist, Sabrina Feng will share her wonderful performance of Mozart Flute Concerto in G Major, Mvt. 1. These marvelous young soloists are sure to amaze you!

Our 190 orchestra musicians will take turns displaying their best, with a varied collection of brilliant orchestral pieces including Handel's Royal Fireworks, Meyer's Fables, Mozart’s Concerto No. 5 in A Major and more. This musical afternoon will certainly be impressive and engaging entertainment for all ages!
