Experience the foundational coaching skills at the heart of VMSA mentorship.

As a Mentor, you use coaching approaches to build trust and get to the kind of impact where someone’s thinking and actions really shift.

The Practice of Coaching is an interactive workshop built around practical frameworks, feedback models, and hands-on application. You’ll sharpen your ability to listen deeply, ask stronger questions, challenge constructively, and give meaningful feedback. You’ll also refine your instinct for when to coach and when to advise.

Together with VMSA Mentors, Mentees, and select leaders from the entrepreneurial community, we’re strengthening mentorship across Alberta.

This session is put on by the Venture Mentoring Services of Alberta (VMSA). VMSA is an entrepreneur mentorship program that supports founders at the scale-up stage by surrounding them with a team of business leaders. We provide ongoing guidance and mentorship through coaching sessions, focused on building effective leaders. We place all of our Mentors, C-suite Executive or Entrepreneurs who have scaled businesses, through this training to provide them the tools to help level up the next generation of leaders through coaching.
