Tickets include: a private experience only available to 4 the Kids Foundation Supporters, and not available to the public. Plus your ticket to Vino for Bambinos. *This is an outdoor experience with areas that may have uneven ground. Please dress for the weather*

Behind the Scenes:  Bactrian Camels | $250.00 | Limit 20 Tickets
You can’t miss the two big humps on our Bactrian camels’ backs, but spend a little more time with them and you’ll see that they’ve got big personalities to match. Journey behind the scenes at the Calgary Zoo with one of our zookeepers to meet the camels and learn how their fat-storing humps, bushy eyebrows, shaggy coats, long eyelashes and wide, flat feet help them survive some of Mother Nature’s hottest and coldest temperatures. You may even get to feed them a treat! Finish the experience with the opportunity to visit Panda Passage, the Calgary Zoo’s  brand new habitat featuring the rock-stars of the animal kingdom, Giant Pandas! This is a rare opportunity to skip the lines and see the bears during the Grand Opening week of this new exhibit.

Grizzly bears are big. Really big! The large hump over their shoulders is pure muscle – they use it to dig their dens and get to roots and rodents to eat. Cougars, mountain lions or catamount, whatever you like to call them – these big felines exude power! Watch their muscles ripple as they stalk through their habitat and you’ll see why these cats are natural born hunters. Journey behind the scenes with a zookeeper in the Calgary Zoo’s Canadian Wilds to meet some of Canada’s most iconic creatures. Learn all about the large carnivores that call our backyard home and see them like never before on this back of house tour.
