WOW. BIG one for me (and you!) my people. For those that know - know. for those that don't - everyone's favourite DJ is playing at least 1-3 (+) VHOOR tracks in each one of their sets. for years. VHOOR is from Brazil and is the king of Balie/Balie Funk. VHOOR has built a name for himself with producing & mixing global electronic music with Brazilian and Afro-Latino rhythms. VHOOR continues to push the boundaries of electronic music production, importing international genres and incorporating them with Brazilian Baile Funk and other lesser known Brazilian rhythms. His solo instrumental albums ('Dias Antes do Baile', 'Ritmo', 'Baile &' Series ), and his work as part of the collective Weird Baile (alongside producers Mu540 and JLZ), and his collaborations with Sango have expanded the conversation on the potential of Brazilian and global electronic music.

I am so beyond honoured to be hosting VHOOR on not only his first North American tour but his first time in Canada.

This is a double headliner event at the gorgeous Hollywood theatre in kits. No other then our boi OAKK who needs - little to no introduction - will be closing the night out. There is nothing this dude can't do and i'm floored by his talents and the way that he has single handedly changed the bass music game with his hard work and dedication.

OAKK is filling shoes that have never been worn before.

Traversing nearly every genre, OAKK’s music stands alone as some of the most boundary-pushing selections in the scene today. Since relocating to Vancouver - this will be OAKK's first big event in the city.
