FALL FESTIBA 2023: Distinguished Artist Series - Tito Puente Jr, Latin Jazz Artist

Tito Puente Jr. carries his father with him - imprinted on his physical being and locked in his soul. It's in his looks, his joy, and his music. Tito, Jr is on a passionate mission. The younger Puente is determined to nurture the musical legacy left by his father. He refuses to let his father become a distant memory. "He was just too vibrant, too exciting. There was magic in the music my father made. It made people happy all over the world." 

Opening the show will be the award-winning Moises Vela Middle School Jazz Ensemble 1 from Harlingen, TX!

Tito Puente Jr lleva a su padre con él, impreso en su ser físico y encerrado en su alma. Está en su apariencia, su alegría y su música. Tito, Jr. está en una misión apasionada. El joven Puente está decidido a nutrir el legado musical dejado por su padre. Se niega a dejar que su padre se convierta en un recuerdo lejano.
