Description

Join our Museum Coordinator as we explore some of the major riots, uprisings, and upsets that occurred in the Town of York and the early City of Toronto throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, and the outcomes that led to lasting societal and political changes.

This tour is part of our Annual Summer Walking Tour Series. It begins on the steps of St. James Cathedral (facing King Street East) and end at Toronto's First Post Office Museum (260 Adelaide Street East). Tours run rain or shine, and may cover rough ground, so please dress accordingly.

--Please Note--

Information, histories, and stories included our Annual Summer Series may overlap between tours.
