Girls Can Do Anything (Except That)

1990s Toronto: voice over work is a great way to find gigs. Two actors enter the same recording booth at two different times of day to dub a Japanese show about a group of magical girls fighting for hope and justice. Unexpected changes to the script cause tension between them and their director. This kids’ show makes them feel seen in ways they didn’t expect, but that’s not allowed on cable.
