Undergraduate Research Opportunities 2026/27 Membership Sale

Thank you for signing up to be a URO member for 2026/27! As a URO member, you will have access to a range of programs and events hosted by URO to help you get involved in research.

Membership Options

• If you are interested in the Research EXperience Program (REX), please purchase the $10 membership.
• If you are not planning to apply for REX, you may purchase the $5 membership. 
• Both tiers: Exclusive research related opportunities and information, including URO Newsletter, Workshops, apply to participate in Research Involvement Fair and MORE

As per AMS bylaws, memberships must be purchased annually and are non-refundable.

How to Receive Your URO Number

After purchasing your membership, please complete the URO Membership Qualtrics Survey (link) as soon as possible. The survey should take approximately 2–3 minutes to complete.

When completing the survey:

• Enter the same email address you used when purchasing your membership through Showpass. You will not receive your URO number if the email addresses do not match.
• Enter your invoice id as confirmation of payment.

Your invoice id can be found in the confirmation email in the Receipt pdf

Once you have completed the survey, you can expect to receive your URO number within 24–48 hours. We will do our best to send it as soon as possible. Please keep your URO number in a secure place, as you will need it to access all URO membership-based programs and events.

Important Information About REX

Getting a URO membership+REX ($10) does not guarantee that you will become a REX mentee. REX is a competitive program, and all prospective REX mentees must apply through the REX application form. If accepted, you will be matched with a mentor to participate in the program.
