4th of July Sunset Sail and Firework Viewing Party

Join the crew of Providence as we celebrate America’s Birthday! Enjoy a leisurely sail along the Potomac River while taking-in the sunset with refreshments. Providence is the only 1700s sailing vessel in Washington DC and is a reproduction of the first warship authorized by the Continental Congress for the Continental Navy. During the sail you will learn about the history of the ship and can help set the sails. After the cruise, stay aboard and watch the fireworks light-up the sky from The Wharf during our champagne toast. Additional beverages will be available for purchase.

(Your ticket includes two beverages during the sail – beer, wine, soda, water, and glass of sparkling wine dockside)

8:30-10:00, Dockside Firework Viewing Party

Current max 38 passengers

Providence  will cruise with a minimum of 10 passengers. We reserve the right to reschedule any cruise that does not meet the minimum number of tickets sold.  Providence  cruises rain or shine but may be delayed or rescheduled if weather conditions are severe.  

Guests must check-in at the Day Docks 15 minutes prior to departure time. Passengers who have not checked in 10 minutes prior to cruise departure will forfeit their reservations. No refunds or rescheduling will be issued for passengers who miss departure. 

Health & Safety Precautions Due to Covid-19 

Visitors and staff will be required to wear masks while boarding, disembarking, and while in the cabin or the hold, in accordance with US Coast Guard regulations. If you need a mask, we have some available in our Gift Shop for purchase.
