For our 10 Year Anniversary, Toronto Queer Film Festival is bringing together local queer artists on the Buddies stage for a night of experimental, strange, and DIY performances that will get weird and silly with this year’s festival theme “Pissed Off, Still Laughing.”

Get your ticket to a night of indulging in laughter as resistance, embodied by experimentation, queerness, darkness, and humour, as our performers explore the interplay of the joy and rage that exist within us.

It’s both. Buddies in Bad Times is a professional theatre company dedicated to the production and development of queer plays. And we’ve been around since 1979 as the largest and longest-running queer theatre in the world. On our weekends, we host late night events to raise money for our theatre and community programming.
