Tough Nutter

Welcome to the first Toronto charity obstacle course made for kids! Tough Nutter is an exciting, challenging and safe obstacle course that boosts fun activity in children while supporting the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Program at The Hospital for Sick Children. Students in Kindergarten through to grade 8 are encouraged to register to enjoy this one of a kind course while loved ones cheer them on! Enjoy all day entertainment in the Party Zone courtesy of SolePower Productions and activities in our Kids Zone by XInfused!

At Tough Nutter, participants will work together to overcome age-oriented physical obstacles to cross to the finish line. Our one course has three varying degrees of difficulty, challenging Tough Nuts to push themselves while promoting teamwork and fun! The course can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the speed and the difficulty that is run. Tough Nuts will run the course by age according to their grades to ensure every child has a positive course experience. 

Avoiding contact with common food allergens - such as nuts, milk and eggs - can be a difficult obstacle, especially for kids! Tough Nutter is helping SickKids reach their goal of identifying a much needed cure for allergies. SickKids is a leading force in solving the challenge of allergy and anaphylaxis and is home to the best immunology and allergy experts in Canada and the world. Our goal is for all Tough Nuts to walk away with a smile, while helping to raise awareness and needed funds for the SickKids Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis program.

 

Race Times: 

10:30 AM: Kindergarten - Grade 1

11:00 AM: Grades 2 - 3

11:30 AM: Grades 4 - 5

12:00 PM: Grades 6 - 8
