Canvas Tote Bag Workshop

Mindfulness is a therapeutic technique that focuses on brining awareness to ourselves and the present moment, and what better way to practice mindfulness than through art! Join local artist Krystelle Creations in this two-hour workshop as she guides you through mindfulness techniques, reflection, and direction on painting a unique tote bag for you to take home.

All materials for this workshop are provided—just bring your creativity!

Evening Session: Wednesday, May 8 | 6:30-8:30 pm
Daytime Session: Sunday, May 26 | 10:30 am-12:30 pm
Cost: $50 (plus fees)
Ages: 13+

Becoming the Confluence Historic Site & Parkland

On May 2, 2024, Fort Calgary changed its name to The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland. 
Under this new name, we are freer to expand the narrative of this place to encompass the many diverse histories of the land. Stories of the North-West Mounted Police and Fort Calgary help to define this place, but there are other important stories to be told, too. At The Confluence, storytelling is liberated and history is an open and welcoming book.
