Through Taiwan's landscapes, traditions, wildlife, and democratic spirit, this puzzle challenge offers a playful way to engage with the island's cultural identity. As each piece finds its place, participants are invited to explore the stories, memories, and values that shape Taiwan—one piece at a time.

Inspired by Taiwan's landscapes and everyday culture, these illustrated puzzles celebrate the island's rich heritage, creativity, and resilience.

Created by a Taiwanese designer, the collection is rooted in a simple hope: to share Taiwan's stories with the world through art, curiosity, and the quiet joy of puzzling.

四人組隊挑戰《Island of Life: Taiwan》拼圖，成功完成者將有機會抽中《Home of Bubble Tea: Taiwan in Four Scenes》拼圖（共三組）！

這場拼圖挑戰以臺灣的自然風景、文化傳統、野生生態與民主精神為主題，邀請參與者在拼湊每一片拼圖的過程中，感受這座島嶼的故事、記憶與價值，一片一片，慢慢認識臺灣。

這系列拼圖取材自臺灣的山海風景、生活文化與土地記憶，以插畫描繪島嶼的人文風貌、創意能量與堅韌精神。

由臺灣設計師創作，每一幅作品都承載著一個簡單而真摯的心願——透過藝術、好奇心與拼圖的樂趣，邀請更多人認識臺灣，聆聽屬於這座島嶼的故事。

About the Artists

 

Hsiao-Wen Lo

Hsiao-Wen Lo loves Taiwan—and she loves puzzles. One day, she thought, Why not bring these two together? That's how Piecing Taiwan into the World was born.

She partnered with Taiwanese illustrator LiTTSE to create puzzles that invite people to discover Taiwan through beauty, curiosity, and play.

Today, she works with public libraries across the United States to share the puzzles, helping Taiwan appear in places where its stories are rarely told.

Each puzzle is her love letter to the island—and an invitation to help Taiwan find its place in the world’s imagination, one shared moment at a time.

駱筱雯是一位熱愛台灣，也熱愛拼圖的人。她發想了「把台灣拼進世界」計畫，並邀請台灣插畫家 LiTTSE 為拼圖創作圖像。透過美感、好奇與遊戲，她希望把心中的台灣溫柔地帶到世界。

她與全美各地的公共圖書館合作，分享這些拼圖，讓台灣的故事走到更多地方。

每一款拼圖都是她寫給這座島嶼的情書——也是一份邀請，邀請人們將台灣一片一片拚進世界想像中。

LiTTSE

LiTTSE is an illustrator from Hsinchu, Taiwan, and the founder of LiTTSE Studio. The brand name "LiTTSE" is an original word combining "Little" and "Tse," inspired by their Chinese nickname, "小刺." Through warm and delicate hand-drawn lines, they capture streetscapes, everyday life, and cultural memories from Taiwan and around the world, transforming ordinary and familiar moments into illustrations filled with stories and emotion. Through their work, they hope to share Taiwan's distinctive warmth, culture, and beauty of everyday life with people around the world.

LiTTSE 是來自台灣新竹的插畫創作者，也是 LiTTSE Studio（荔思工坊）的創辦人。品牌名稱「LiTTSE」是由 "Little" 與 "Tse" 結合而成的自創字，呼應他的中文綽號「小刺」。他擅長以溫暖細膩的手繪筆觸，記錄台灣和世界各地的街道風景、日常生活與文化記憶，將平凡而熟悉的片刻，轉化為充滿故事與情感的插畫。他期待透過創作，讓不同地方的人們看見台灣獨特的人情、文化與生活之美。
