Come step into the Captain Tractor Time Machine at the legendary King Eddy on April 19.

In April 2025, the world will hear the revisited, reimagined, remixed, remastered, rejigged, rejuvenated, remodelled, and renovated version of our beloved 1995 album East of Edson!

Yes, mathematicians, that means that East of Edson is 30 Years Old! To celebrate, we searched and discovered the original two-inch master tapes in the dark catacombs of The Provincial Archive (no, not the band), digitized all of the tracks, and voila! our Time Machine was born.

East Of Edson, Captain Tractor’s sophomore effort, has long since attained Gold status (40,000 units), with many of them sold right off the stage by band members themselves. East of Edson helped jumpstart a career that now spans 32 years, 10 albums, thousands of shows around the world, and still going strong. A band planted firmly in the canon of Western Canadian music — bringing the house down at every show.

East Of Edson itself, contains three singles; Up The Hill (top 10 in Edmonton), Talk, and The Last Saskatchewan Pirate, which has gone on to become a Western Canadian Classic Anthem. Drunken Sailor was placed in Due South (one of Canada’s top TV shows of all time), Lord of the Dance spearheaded a Slade resurgence, and London Calling is poised to become a 2025 hit!

So step into the Time Machine and give Captain Tractor’s East Of Edson another spin. Thirty years later, the party’s better than ever. Out in April 2025 on Six Shooter Records.

See you out there.
