Description
The curtain is rising on a brand-new chapter in Wilton Manors! 🎭✨
Our first performance with Tituss Burgess sold out so quickly that we had no choice but to add a second show on Friday, October 24 to meet the overwhelming demand!
The Gray Box Theater is opening its doors as the city’s newest home for creativity, connection, and authentic voices — and what better way to launch than with a night to remember.
🌟 Headliner Announcement:
We are honored to welcome Tituss Burgess as our inaugural performer!
A Tony-nominated Broadway powerhouse, Tituss has dazzled audiences on stage and screen — from The Little Mermaid and Guys and Dolls to his iconic, Emmy-nominated role on Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. His humor, heart, and artistry have made him one of the most celebrated performers of our time.
🎹 On the Piano:
Tituss will be joined by the incomparable John McDaniel — Tony Award–winning music director, pianist, composer, and producer. Known for his work on Broadway and as the longtime band leader for The Rosie O’Donnell Show, McDaniel brings brilliance and warmth to every performance.
✨ Why Tituss?
Because he embodies who we are. Gray Box Theater was built to showcase bold, diverse, and authentic voices. Tituss — a proud, out, gay Black man living his truth and uplifting others through his art — perfectly reflects the spirit of inclusion, resilience, and joy we want our stage to represent.
