Description

An intimate and joyous performance for one singer and an audience gathered around her piano. Jane sings and tells stories about songs that play this role in her own life, and then invites the audience to share the songs that they sing (or play or listen to) when they’re sad. It’s a rare opportunity to hear a superb singer up close and personal as she delves into the link between deep emotions and the musical elements that make sad songs so addictive.

Friday and Saturday evening performances will be followed by live musical performances in the Cox & Palmer Second Space.

The Sunday the 30th performance offers ASL interpretation and is a relaxed performance.

This show offers Community Price tickets. Community Price tickets are lower cost tickets that are offered in limited amounts for shows in the RCAT season. The Community Price ticket is available for those who would deem the cost of a full price ticket to be a barrier to attending our shows.

Contact Information

Resource Centre for the Arts (RCA) operates from the historic LSPU Hall, affectionately referred to as The Hall – which houses a 172-192 seat theatre. The first floor has a bar and smaller performance space, Cox & Palmer Second Space.

Refund Policy

In place until further notice – subject to change. Refunds are only permitted in cases where the patron cannot attend due to illness. Refund requests must be made no later than 4 hours before the start of the show, after which no refunds will be permitted.
