Dive into the enchanting, mystic charm of Venice, the lilting melodies of the gondoliers juxtaposed by powerful percussive dance. This unique Flamenco infused event in the innovative creative hub of cSpace features the concert Barcarolle by Fiona Malena Flamenco and an art exhibition The Art of Dance by Paul Van Ginkel. 

The seed of inspiration for Barcarolle took place in Venice, Italy during a series of short visits and residencies over the past 8 years by Berlin based flamenco dancer Fiona Malena. Joining her on stage are dancer Anastassiia Alexander, guitarist Jake “el Chinito” (Victoria), guitarist Michael Boyle and singer Silvia Temis.

Concert 7 pm (ends 9 pm, includes an intermission)

ART EXHIBITION

The art exhibition event starts at 4 pm and is not ticketed. The debut documentary film of artist Paul Van Ginkel www.paulvanginkel.com will be screened at 5 pm.
