Description

Experience the artistic heartbeat of Alberta at the third edition of The Warm Up, a collaborative winter celebration hosted by the Town of Canmore and the Canmore Folk Music Festival on Friday, Feb. 13.

The festivities begin at the Civic Centre Hub (4–8 p.m.) with a free, family-friendly evening featuring an Indigenous Welcome, community fire pits with marshmallow roasting, a light-up ice castle, a live DJ, and roving performances by Bow Valley Circus. New this year, visitors can even see their own doodles projected onto the Civic Centre in a live interactive art display!

The celebration continues late into the night across 7 downtown venues featuring 20+ local artists and an official afterparty. While the Hub is free, a $40 all-access wristband (kids under 12 are free) unlocks all indoor venues and the town-wide Bingo game with great prizes. Support our local creators and businesses during this vibrant night of music, light, and community; discounted tickets are also available through the Canmore Affordability Plan.

The Canmore Folk Festival is Alberta’s longest-running folk music celebration, set in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. With world-class artists, artisan and food vendors, and stunning mountain views, it brings music, community, and culture together.

Refund Policy

IMPORTANT: NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES due to weather, an Act of God, or other circumstances beyond the control of the CFMF. Refunds for cancellations within CFMF control are discretionary. Void if reported stolen. Holder voluntarily assumes all risks/dangers and waives claims for loss/injury/negligence against CFMF, sponsors, & venue. Holder agrees to all rules/laws and consents to security searches. Non-compliance results in expulsion.
