2026 Edmonton Film Prize finalist!
Planting a thousand, thousand-year-old trees is the not-so-simple mission of The Secret Long Tree Society, a group of passionate arborists and tree nerds in Edmonton, Alberta. But a thousand-year project comes with unique challenges. How do you even pass on your message over that much time? What trees should you plant and where? If the project works, do you risk accidentally creating a tree cult?
