Experience an unforgettable night of music, dance, performance, and celebration at The Rainbow Party during Pride weekend. You’re invited to “Let Your True Colours Shine” by dressing head-to-toe in your favourite colour(s) of the rainbow or simply bringing your brightest, boldest, and most expressive self to the dance floor. Celebrate Pride in a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere at the Fulford Hall on Saturday, July 18.

 

You’ll be entertained by Alma Be, Vivian Vanderpuss, DJ canis loopus, and many other performers.

 

The night kicks off with festival favourite DJ canis loopus, with a musical background spanning multiple genres and instruments. She emphasizes warmth, texture, and a love of nature, showing that music, like us, can be complex without sacrificing fun. Her sets tend toward house and UK dub, but canis loopus explores genres to communicate growth through music.

 

From there, the energy only climbs higher. Alma Be — drag artist, nightlife icon, and rising DJ — brings over 15 years of experience behind the booth. Alma Be serves up irresistible blends of tech house, nu-disco, bass house, and pop remixes. Known for reading the room, Alma Be keeps the vibes high, the energy flowing, and the dance floor moving.

 

The headline performance is none other than Vivian Vanderpuss, fan favourite and Miss Congeniality from Canada’s Drag Race Season 3. (Eat your heart out, Sandra Bullock!) Victoria's vintage vixen, Vivian Vanderpuss has been charming audiences on Vancouver Island and beyond for nearly ten years! Often sporting hair that has its own gravitational pull, you can see this campy queen coming from a mile away.

 

And that’s just the beginning. Throughout the night, you’ll be treated to a lineup of still-to-be performances, including Victoria’s own bearded theatre queen Woofie, sizzling go-go dancers, and additional acts that promise to delight, surprise, and keep the energy soaring well past midnight.

 

With immersive sound, lighting, and laser production by Sculptor Systems and Living Water Media, Fulford Hall will be transformed into a full-scale Pride dance experience — pulsing, radiant, and ready for celebration.

 

The Rainbow Party is presented by DAISSI and designed as a joyful Pride celebration — a space where people can dance, connect, express themselves freely, and celebrate community.
