Their lyrics carry the weight of honesty, often drawn from Forrest’s personal journey and heritage as a member of Treaty 7 Territory.

Blending classic country influences with contemporary production and emotional storytelling, The North Sound stands apart from mainstream country by pushing the boundaries of the genre. With four #1 singles on the Indigenous Music Countdown, national airplay, and awards including Sask Music's Indigenous Artist of the Year, the band continues to carve a path that is both deeply personal and widely relatable.

Their latest album, As the Stars Explode, has been praised for its lyrical depth and musical freshness.
