Una Mey is a vocalist born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. Her sound is diverse, delving into Electronic, Pop, and R&B. She takes influence from female vocalists, such as Lana Del Rey and Kali Uchis. Mey's lyricism is often introspective and melancholy, juxtaposed with brighter instrumentals. There is a clear message being expressed in Mey's current work, and that is that everyone is deserving of love, regardless of their struggles and failures.

Art has always been Billie-Rae's calling - throughout her life she has never shied away from literature, dance or visual art. She seems to have a knack for everything artistic, and music is no exception. Her ability to create memorable melodies while also telling elegant, passionate stories through her lyrics is what sets her apart from her pop contemporaries. While in the studio or writing process, she’s often quoted saying she wants to make something ‘weird’ which wouldn’t surprise you considering her biggest influences are Radiohead and Bjork. In 2018, she teamed up with Nyhla Records to officially launch her professional music career, which began with her debut single ‘Bye Bye Cali’, and continues with her latest single ‘Tell Me’.

Yasmin Ray found inspiration by the life, music and art of the late great Tupac Shakur. Motivated by his wisdom and passion, Yasmin began writing poetry, learning how to translate into song so she could express herself freely. She started constructing her own version of modern R&B with the flare of her misfit mentality. While mixing her fearlessness, dedication and hard work, Yasmin's sonic style has bloomed beautifully. 

Completely independent and determined, she traveled to Atlanta to work with top shelf producers to craft her vision. With their guidance and belief in her voice and style, they created her 5 song EP called "Blank Canvas" and "Wishful Thinking" being her first single. As her growth is limitless, Yasmin is determined to make her sound as fresh as the flowers that represent her name.

 

CAITLIN GOULET (Vancouver) // http://www.caitlingoulet.com/

Caitlin Goulet is a dynamic and powerful performing artist. Of Métis heritage, Caitlin was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, and is now based in Vancouver. She is a graduate of Toronto’s Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts.

Caitlin Goulet has been described as sultry, bold, and magnetic. She lives in each moment of her songs, embodying vulnerability, jubilance, sass, rawness, and glamour. Her take on modern pop draws from throwback soul-pop, and contemporary pop/R&B.

Since releasing her single “Way With Me” in 2016, Caitlin has been focusing on writing new songs and is excited to share her new music.
