Description

THE LAST PRAIRIE WALTZ celebrates the timeless and brilliant music of The Band and their final legendary concert, “The Last Waltz”, while shining a spotlight on the rich tradition of Canadian-made original songs that continue to shape our culture. 2026 marks the 50th Anniversary of The Last Waltz.

This powerful show brings together an all-star lineup of professional, notable artists, songwriters, and legendary musicians who proudly call Saskatchewan and particularly Prince Albert, “home”. Spanning generations and crossing the boundaries of genres, this cast is united by a common bond- the music itself, the world it brings together, and the unforgettable songs it inspires. With deep respect and reverence for The Band, their spirit, and the era they embodied, this homegrown, world-class lineup brings the songs of The Band to life with authenticity, passion, and their own Canadian artistry.

Show cast includes:
Producers: Munro & Patrick (Heidi Munro & Scott Patrick), Rich McFarlane, Janaya McCallum- with special guests’ members of the Trudel Family, Dean Kushneryk, Mick Gratias, Brenner Holash, Dennis Adams, LJ Tyson, Connor Newton, Lauren Lohneis, Eliza Doyle, Paul Lomheim, Doyle Ironstand, Shania Cabilao, Ross Folkersen, Scott Roos.

The show has been performed to Sold Out crowds at The Broadway Theatre, (Saskatoon, SK), and Darke Hall (Regina, SK). The vision of The Last Prairie Waltz is to carry this production across Canada, inviting great artists and musicians from
every corner of the country to join the cast and celebrate our shared musical legacy and original Canadian music.
The goal of this concert production is to support the local professional music industry and bring communities together, wherever The Last Prairie Waltz may land.
