The Kinkonauts

The Kinkonauts, Calgary's Improv Lab, has delighted audiences with extraordinary unscripted theatre since 2006. Every show is a unique, never to be repeated adventure. Enjoy the tightrope thrill of performers living completely in the moment. Improvised stories and characters you'll still be laughing about at the bar later.

About the Artists

Hip Hip Thursday was formed at the Alcove Centre for the Arts as a cooperative of 6 musicians who met at the weekly jams on (you guessed it) Thursdays. The resulting project maintained a creative space to speak truth to power and as a band, they reflect the diversity of talents Moh’kins’tsis has to offer. Hip-hop, rap jazz funk, and indie-funk all suffice to say what can only be heard.
